I agree with your points, opponents have indeed been figuring out out defense, as an example, our third and fourth down inability to get off the field, imo, a schematic change on defense has been needed for some time now, I so hope with the coaching additions, along with player acquisitions that our defense will be put in a position to succeed, which has not been the case over the last couple of seasons, jmo.

Well our defense has been a turnstile in the playoffs pretty much annually, just look at third & fourth down results, Beane did what he had to do, now, in theory, with new coaches and new player acquisitions, we may very well have a chance at a better result with our defense, and overall team success, always hoping for the best 👍
