  1. Agree, can’t make holes in your offense for what would be penny wise, pound foolish reasoning, gotta keep the band together…,
  2. It’s just posturing on Cook’s behalf, I suspect he knows that he isn’t going to be paid that,
  3. Agree that “ zone” per se isn’t the problem, it’s giving up what I call, free release, off the line for easy yards that frustrates me, I think that upsetting pass play timing by “getting in the receivers face” at the line could go a long way to helping, jmo, you are better versed in tactics than I am, am I missing the boat on my thoughts here?
  4. It would be so great if we landed a beast DT or two,
  5. You are spot on Shaw, I have learned a lot coming here to read up on what Bills fans are talking about, I generally don’t go in got the mock draft projections, but for some reason or another I am more interested this off season, I think it’s because the Bills are on the cusp of bringing it home, 👍
  6. Nice post Happy, My take away from what you posted is that we need to have tight coverage at the LOS to upset their pass timing, soft coverage zone has been our Achilles heel, it is my hope that our coaches can optimize our D to limit that flaw, 🤞
  7. Control the lines and you control the game, that old saying that the game is won and lost in the trenches holds true to this day, please, no more FA signings of old guys on the down side of their careers, 🤞
  8. Being that all HCs tell GMs what they want / need, and that all teams draft for BPA at positions of need/want, it’s a murky line as to who is doing what.., I suspect that sometimes Sean gets who he wants, and the rest of the time Beane makes those decisions, it’s very likely the same across the league, likely the have both screwed the pooch at times.
  9. I read a blurb about this speculation earlier today, we certainly could use help there, I don’t know much about him but it appears he is talented, we shall see…,
  10. Josh is the man! spreading it around, everyone eats !
  11. It was certainly the start of a bunch of injuries, and guys getting older and slower, it wouldn’t matter if Frazier was still on board, the defense wasn’t going to be able to maintain its level of play, couple this to a scheme that plays soft coverages regularly and you get what we got, time for some retooling on the D, hope Carter comes back healthy and ready to play, he can be a piece of the puzzle to get the D back on track, 🤞
  12. “ A guy coming off a season long injury “ Is it gonna take most of another season to get this guy up to speed? we’ve all seen this show before…,
  13. But if ya try sometimes, ya just might find, ya get what ya need…
  14. They don’t have the personnel to run what they do now, this potential scheme modification might be just the ticket to help the guys we have / are keeping perform at a higher level, 🤞🤞
  15. Out D line needs some mean strong Knarly SOBs and no more soft zone coverages behind them, jmo.
  16. Those pearls need clutching,
  17. No worries, jets still thinking with their Woody…,
  18. It’s funny to me how some folk are freaked out over human bodies, especially over a breast cancer advert, boobies boobies boobies, so many sizes and shapes, its just plain delightful, 👍
  19. This right here ^^^ I like Beane, but he outsmarts himself at times,
  20. Agree, but it will take a change in how they prioritize acquisition of said players, the question here is can they do it, and not employ the same pudding soft zone coverages that we have all grown far to accustomed to, a change in philosophy on defense needs to happen at the same time as bringing on board the “ new” D linemen, jmo.
  21. Agree, Your point on the players or the coaching is the two pronged issue with our D line, combined that with the soft coverages that they almost always use is why the Defense struggles most every season, especially in the playoffs, imo, Sean’s scheme is old hat, and the better teams/coaches know how to attack it, time for a change,
  22. Like I said, that cheating thing…,
  23. We need a wide out, that actually does the job without being a whiny ___, and a bunch of defensive position up grades, as well as a scheme upgrade, do those things and we have a better than even chance at success, jmo.
  24. Agree, that and learning when not to speak, 😁
