Agreed, and I share the same view. I was 9 in 1973, and I cannot count how many times that I have witnessed the same thing. The term "Any Given Sunday" is no joke.

It is a dangerous game to be over confident, especially when we haven't even seen the new look Bills in a regular season game yet. To some, it would appear to be an easy schedule, but there is little room for error to make the playoffs.

So Spence appears to be another high draft pick who can't adjust to the NFL. The Bills are probably intrigued by his potential and wanted a look. I like Daryl Johnson as well and I predict good things from him. He emerged in his senior year and he is just getting started. It appears that all he needed was a chance.

I need to find a way to watch Bills games in Chicago.

Maybe Kyle is having a problem letting go. It seems like he has been here forever, through thick and thin and reality hasnt set in yet. If he can't play anymore, he can at least keep the bond with the team and help out. I say hire him in some capacity and keep him connected.

We pretty much know what we have with Gore. Singletary has flashed some of what we expected, and Yeldon is Yeldon. I feel that Singletary will be ok, and he will make the adjustment to the NFL.

If we are hearing it, we know that they are!

Maybe the Bills can. The guy has an excellent skill set, but something isnt clicking. Spence had off the field issues, namely a drug problem, but it may be under control. If he could benefit from the classic change of scenery/system scenario and play to his potential, he would be a steal for the Bills

Spence can play LB, but his lackluster play and the arrival of Devin White and Devonte Bond made him expendable by the Bucs. Spence is another high draft pick who didn't live up to his potential and never really flashed in Tampa. I don't know how much time McDermott has on his hands for reclamation projects, but he is obviously worth a look. Maybe he could turn things around in Buffalo.

Noah Spence seems to have a lot of talent and good skill set and size. Are his off field issues still a concern? Urban Meyer stated that Spence went all out at practice. Intriguing former 2nd round pick. Maybe he can get his head together and start living up to his potential.

Right on. I say bring Jones in here and introduce him to this defense and get a feel of where he is at. At this stage, he probably wants a change. He seems to fit in this system and he may buy in to it. Jones is a low risk, high reward option and he possesses a great combination of size, speed, and toughness.

Sounds like this kid just needs some stability, and he needs to just stay in one place for an evaluation. He wasn't in bad company competing with Mahomes and Mayfield at times.

Lets hope Roberts has a good game. I like him in the regular offense as well.

Jones is another talented and athletic player that McDermott can plug in to this defense...It is always a bonus to have players with his skill set. After being in the league for a few years, a change of scenary may give him some direction...he looks like a fit.

Good. Looking back, he is probably relieved now to be out of that mad house. Now he can show the Jets his appreciation by returning the favor.

They sure as hell better win this year.

Thats exactly it! Why these thinly veiled attempts to please everybody's sensibility. Just admit that your team is a mess and you are selling out. Tell you what, if calling it tanking makes you uncomfortable, then you are free to call it something else.
