  1. Trade him to Dallas while he still has some value. I personally don’t think he’s a bad corner, but clearly they used a first round pick on somebody who doesn’t fit the scheme… The scheme that had already been in place for years prior mind you… what a waste.
  2. How dare you not even know ball bro… pass rush was in Allen’s grill almost instantly, Knox clearly the first read there, no time to get to Diggs. Bad call. Bad take.
  3. So you missed how quickly the pass rush was closing in? Clearly Knox the first read, just bc a Diggs was open doesn’t make that the right call from the goal line.
  4. Dorsey is so bad… he has no idea how to handle short yardage situations, bad in the redzone. Please for the love of god, get rid of him. Idc what Brady did in Carolina, that was all Matt Rhule, he can’t be worse that Dorsey.
  5. End of the Midermmot era unfolding before our eyes, and it’s a lot uglier than I could’ve imagined.
  6. Make Coach Prime an offer he can’t refuse, trade Josh for a boatload of picks, draft Shadeur… I mean that would certainly be one way to open a new stadium. Obviously none of that will happen, and I’m sure Midermmot will be there clapping louder than ever at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
  7. Hard when Josh sees the field about as well as Helen Keller… leave it to MIDermmot to throw everybody under the bus except himself…
  8. Yet we got our head coach throwing Gabe under the bus essentially… maybe he’ll find some time to stop clapping and watch some of this tape too. Sean MIDdermott
  9. If Josh Allen doesn’t go through one of the biggest transformations in NFL history from year 1 to year 3, there is no process… Imo, it is highly unlikely Sean McDermott ever leads a team to a Super Bowl win, he is cut from the same cloth as a Marvin Lewis and Marty Schottenheimer (RIP). He’s a good coach, a great leader of men, like Dan Campbell, but when it comes to the more cerebral aspects of coaching and in game management, McDermott gets lost in the shuffle. Josh seems to have plateaued and lost that chip on his shoulder that drove him to make that leap from prospective bust to top 3 at the hardest position to play in pro sports... He is far from stupid, one of the the highest wonderlic scores amongst active QBs, I just think off the field his head is everywhere except where it needs to be. As for the man fueling said process, Beane’s inability to add offensive weapons to help Josh aside from Diggs is truly head scratching. There have been numerous opportunities to add another piece to get them over the top, but then they just keep signing players to the defensive side of the ball while trying to patch work the skill positions on offense. Hopefully Beane doesn’t stand pat and waste this year hoping Gabe Davis becomes a legit #2, and pulls the trigger on a trade for somebody like Hollywood Brown or another legit #2 (was hoping for Mike Evans) on a team looking to tank. The process has taken us as far as it’s going to go, and as if they stand pat, they’ll be lucky to squeak into the wildcard. ADD Kirksey to the active roster ADD a legit #2 WR Remove Ken Dorsey Promote Joe Brady to OC Hope the Josh pulls his head out of his arse, and the rest falls into place… All of these things will happen, it’s just a matter of how long Beane is willing to let this dumpster fire burn?
  10. They got Joe Brady who judging by his award winning resume (nevermind being Matt Rhule’s scape goat in Carolina) is the likely successor just waiting for his opportunity. No need to change terminology or anything, I’d be very interest to see what he could do with this offense… it’s the only other legitimate option to Dorsey this season.
  11. How long until they hand the reigns to Joe Brady? Clearly Dorsey learned nothing from the end of last season to tonight, it looked like the exact same uninspired hot garbage out there. Even if it’s change for changes sake, I give him two more games, and if they’re still struggling to live up to their potential, get somebody new in that booth.
  12. Unbearable? The only thing unbearable is this crap they’re putting on the field, especially after the way they exited last January. The offense has literally picked up right where they left off vs the Bengals. It’s week one, it’s been rough all over the league, but if things don’t turn around quickly I expect Dorsey’s seat to start melting.
  13. I think we’ve hit Josh’s ceiling… that’s fine, he’s still more than good enough to win SuperbowlS, but we know who he is... I don’t think he’s going to have a super long career like we’ve seen from other franchise QBs, bc once he becomes relegated to being a one dimensional pocket passer, it’s going to get ugly.
  14. Josh looking to break his INT record this year… he just throws them to show how much he doesn’t care about winning MVP.
  15. If he relied on his talents alone, he never would’ve gotten better…
  16. 12 pages of this? Really? One doesn’t go from where Josh was at in his rookie year, a raw project everybody couldn’t wait to slap the “bust” label on, to where he is now- inarguably top 3 at the hardest position to play in all of pro sports, due to a lack of work ethic or by being lazy. end thread.
  17. Missed my point, “top paid” RB isn’t what it used to be in a down market for RBs across the board, comparative to other positions, I.e. wide receiver. I’m sure they could structure the deal so he gets more money next year when they move on from Diggs… Josh won’t need top paid WRs, what he needs is to stop being the entire offense.
  18. While I generally agree with the sentiment of not overpaying for top tier RBs, I think the sticker price on an elite RB has come down considerably, and it may be a buyers market for those who can afford to pay a now reduced premium. McBeane have also now invested three picks in the first three rounds at RB in their time here, and have yet to get the production they desire out of the position. JT could definitely be the piece this year that helps get a team to the top of that mountain. This will definitely be a popular opinion, but I would even argue that adding a 24 yr old elite RB who the opposing defense has to gameplan for every Sunday, opens up the offense for 17 in a way that makes the aging elite WR, (who costs considerably more than the young elite RB), expendable next season.
  19. You could argue McCaffery could’ve been the difference maker for the Niners last year had Purdy not gotten injured… I think Taylor would give this Bills team a similar boost as CMC did, and I’d part with Cook and a 2nd round pick if that’s what it took to find out… plus he’s somehow still only 24? Both he and Cook were born in 99… Mixon two years ago… Playoff Lenny for the Bucs… Can even go back to Beastmode for the Seahawks. It works when you pair them with the right QB.
  20. So is there enough to go get a decent tackle? Sounds like that needs to be addressed somehow. Via FA with a dirtbag like Lewan if necessary, or via trade. But I’d hate to see the team stand pat and roll the dice on protecting Josh, again, after investing a quarter billion $ into him…
  21. If Torrence shines, and Brown continues to struggle, do they try Bates at RT? Bates has been at minimum serviceable at every spot he’s manned on the OL, played tackle in college, not sure how much at the pro level, but it’s certainly not looking great for Brown out there based on early reports. Hopefully it’s simply a case of the pass rush finally being the dominant force McBeane has been trying to build since day 1.
  22. “Rule change: A launch, which is a personal foul (15-yard penalty), is now if a player leaves one or both feet to make a tackle.” Donte Whitner never would’ve seen a second contract in today’s league…
