  1. With Beane’s drafting record he’d be smart to trade for proven commodities, as much as the cap allows vs drafting and missing more often than not. Waddle on this team could be a lot of fun, even if he is banged up more often than I would care for... A lot more fun than watching Keon Coleman ride the struggle bus every week. Id give them Keon and a pick at this point and not even be scared that it’s going to come back and bite me in the arse bc I’m that certain Keon will never be anything special in this league. He’ll just be lucky enough to just be in the league period after his rookie contract is up… I’m sure he’ll float around the league on one year deals and practice squads.
  2. What’s the Covid lie? I’m legitimately curious which part of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic (now endemic) was/is deceitful by your estimation?
  3. Victory laps a small enough percentage to be considered margin for error, and then… https://www.economist.com/interactive/trump-approval-tracker https://www.yahoo.com/news/article/poll-60-of-americans-disapprove-of-how-trump-is-handling-the-economy--a-new-high-191434761.html https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-gen-z-young-people-support-poll-rock-bottom-approval-rating-10957911 I think what’s important here is we not lose focus on what we’re all trying to achieve here - Making Argentina Great Again. The craziest thing is in the movie “Idiocracy” it took 500 years to get where we’re headed under Trump in just 5 of his exemplary leadership, “Project Warpspeed” indeed. It almost makes you forget that this is the guy who couldn’t turn a profit on a casino back when people still actually went to Atlantic City…
  4. He’s transitioning… Going Full Flanders. He’s actually got a consultation at Bosley next week.
  5. McDefense wasn’t a beast with Clappy McFlanders calling the plays, but don’t get it twisted, it was miles ahead of the 💩 Babich has been putting on the field these last two years. Is some of that personnel based? i.e McFlanders having Hyde and Po instead of dog 💩 in cleats roaming the secondary IS a huge difference- Sure, but I don’t think it excuses things like giving up 100 points in two weeks last year, or not being able to stop an anemic Chiefs offense in the AFC Title game, or the train wreck that’s been unfolding before our eyes for the past 6 weeks. McFlanders McDefense won’t be scaring anybody, but it might be borderline respectable with him actually calling the defense, with a lot more bending than the outright breaking we’ve witnessed under Babich.
  6. With the trend lately on this team, pretty obvious it’s A.J. Klein…
  7. Likely for whoever Beane trades for to try and save the season like he does every year. I’d assume Olave, Shaheed, or maybe Jakobi Meyers since Gino refuses to throw him the ball.
  8. I just never understood that pick. Nothing about it felt right. Ladd seemed like the “process” guy. I don’t even want to hear detractors say “but Shakir”, as if having another player who can actually run routes and get separation would be a bad problem to have. I’ve said it numerous times, Brandon Beane’s resume is essentially Josh Allen. That trade back was just as bad as standing pat and letting the Chiefs leapfrog him for McDuffie, and then settling for Elam instead. I’m not even sure how Bills fans can get excited for drafts anymore with his boom/bust ratio. Josh & Cook aside, there’s no boom with his players it’s either serviceable or bust.
  9. Why stop there, let’s just keep going back. Let’s bring Doug Whaley back. Hot take alert, but I legit think if he’d drafted Josh, this team would be better off with him at the helm.
  10. Beane and McDermott both should be gone. If Beane was going to get another chance, he should’ve done his job and found a new coach when McDermott couldn’t get it done with homefield vs KC. That should’ve been the last reasonable chance for him to get to the dance. The rest of the league is clearly catching up, McDermott’s brand of ball is not going to get it done. Beane’s drafts have largely been mediocre/bad. The answer is just languishing down there in North Carolina. Defense wouldn’t be a liability with him running the show. I also can’t think of anybody who would be more motivated or more qualified to go win atleast one more Super Bowl.
  11. If it was going to happen with McDermott, it would’ve by now. I don’t think the window ever closes on Josh, atleast not for the next 7-8 years. However if the Pegulas are content with Beane and McDermott running the show like the Fish were with Shula, then unfortunately he’s gonna go down as this generations Marino unless he pushes his way out of here. Atleast when the Fish were wasting Dan Marino’s Hall of Fame career with Shula, even though the game started passing him by, Don atleast had a career accomplishment or two to hang his hat on. Sean McDermott is supposed to be a defensive guru who year after year turns out mediocre to bad defenses. And year after year, no matter how good the Bills have been he’s seemingly never in the conversation for “coach of the year”, which speaks volumes… I honestly don’t understand what we are doing here anymore, but this thing ran its course a few years ago. We have now entered the “exercise in futility” stage of McDermott’s tenure here in Buffalo.
  12. How about even less putting the ball in hands of a guy who’s been active for like half the schedule, at crucial points in the game…
  13. Something tells me we haven’t heard the last of the cute complaints…
  14. From the gameday thread two hours ago, this one was free- “Anybody else feeling like career game incoming for Bijan Robinson tonight?…” Hopefully you all got on those props atleast to cushion the blow…
  15. I mean, idk, the whole team suddenly looks like it’s ready to implode at this point, so who knows what’s needed. All I do know is what I’ve said since 13 seconds, they will NEVER win a title with McDermott running the team. Maybe his Ned Flanders schtick has finally lost the team…
  16. Yes I too have a huge problem with an offense routinely scoring 30+… go look how many teams do that, I’ll hang up and listen.
  17. Hopefully they promote Brady this year when McDefense inevitably costs Josh another chance at shipping it…
  18. I don’t think this team has the personnel on defense to do much right against any teams strengths. They played the run well last week because New England doesn’t run well, go ahead and look at their numbers, ypc Pats are a bottom tier rush team. You’re comparing apples to oranges. I personally think it’s a bad matchup for the Bills defense. They caught a break with Mooney being out, maybe they can roll coverage towards London and prevent a repeat of last week atleast through the air and hope to stall drives when obvious passing situations present themselves. I mean I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
  19. Don’t worry everybody, I took one for the team and bet all the Bijan props, so he’s almost certainly blowing a knee, pulling a hammy at a minimum, as I’m pretty certain the William H Macy’s character in “The Cooler” was in fact based on me. For reference, had Travis Kelce caught that TD against the Eagles in week 2, ya know, the kind he’s made his entire Hall of Fame career, I win $10k instead of $2K. As if I needed another reason to hate that d bag.
  20. Are you legitimately comparing the Falcons backfield to the Pats???
  21. If you want, we can pretend like run defense is not an issue and the Bills aren’t playing one of the top rushing teams in the league tonight…
  22. Anybody else feeling like career game incoming for Bijan Robinson tonight? Not even saying Bills lose this one, I just think it’s going to be close and I see no way this defense contains Bijan. If they do, somehow, then Bills by a Billion.
  23. Imagine if the Bulls wasted Michael Jordan’s entire career with Doug Collins because ownership was simply content with contending…
  24. People pumping up Palmer all offseason as some big acquisition was just typical Message Board behavior. Palmer is redundantly the same type of FA WR Beane brings in every year. I’m not sure what people honestly expected. He’s a capable NFL player, but at the end of the day, he’s not moving the needle as a consistent playmaker or somebody that needs to be game planned against by opposing DC’s. I mean it’s not like the Bills were getting a WR like Jakobi Meyers who’s been putting up numbers despite poor QB play throughout his career, Palmer has had the benefit of one of the better passers in the league before Allen, so yeah, expectations that he was going to be a difference maker were just ill conceived from the get go. On the flip side, if he’s getting separation, but not getting the ball, it’s likely bc he’s one of the last reads on most plays. Josh is looking to Shakir, Kincaid, Keon, THEN Palmer, so that’s not going to add up to any significant volume in most games, especially when the team is generally playing with a lead, or not far behind, and remains committed to the run... Only so much ball to go around when “everybody eats”.
