  1. I don’t get the MVP criteria personally. I see articles now saying Lamar is likely to win bc he was named 1st team All Pro. So last year, Allen has the bigger offensive numbers, but Lamar has the team wins, so Lamar gets MVP with pedestrian stats (by MVP standards) This year, Allen gets the wins with a team many were picking to not even win their own division bc “the window was closed” and “rebuilding”, cuts down the INTs, leads the team to 13 wins, but Lamar with an extra game he NEEDED to play, in a year you could argue the Ravens fell short of regular season expectations, regardless he’s STILL MVP??? “Voters” need to pick a lane. It can’t be team wins matter one year, then the next it’s irrelevant essentially and you’re going to give the MVP to a player on the 3 seed who needed a week 18 win to close out their division...
  2. I would’ve said the same thing about the Bucs but here we are down two scores… Huntley, an anemic run game, and banged up WRs hardly inspires optimism. Chiefs Broncos for some reason I have this eerie feeling it goes the same way as that “classic” 2005 Steelers Bills matchups where the 14-1 Steelers beat a 9-6 Bills team with their backups in a game the Bills just needed to win and they’re in…
  3. They have to stop rewarding the NFC south with home playoff games, just because 4 bad teams happen to play each other twice a year doesn’t mean a 14 twin team should have to go on the road… I mean Saints shouldn’t even be competitive in this one, all of their skill players starting today are basically XFLers.
  4. Anybody else got a bad feeling we’re going to see Black and Orange in Orchard Park next week?
  5. If I’m an NFL GM in need of a QB, and on the outside looking in at the top 5 in the draft, I’d be making a deal for Milton. Obviously he hasn’t been game planned for, but the tools are impressive to say the least… Pats could very well have lucked into a RG3/Cousins situation.
  6. Bills Broncos will be extremely one sided if we luck into that draw. I’m not the biggest McDefense fan, but one thing it typically does is create headaches for inexperienced QBs. Denver doesn’t have the run game to expose the Bills weak run defense, and their only legitimate, consistent offensive threat is Courtland Sutton, who is a nice piece to an offense, but he’s no game changer. Bills win by three scores.
  7. I want to believe people who run NFL franchises know more than the most fans, but then I see Arthur Smith still being gainfully employed as a play caller…
  8. Making perfectly valid points isn’t whining, if anything you seem rather butthurt. In fact, he just made a very logical statement and observation that every year come post season, our Defensive “guru” of a head coach has his defense gashed in the post season, despite endless resources poured into that side of the ball.
  9. I was assured by 90% of the people here last week, with all their angry emojis, that MiDermott’s defense was not a problem moving forward, I should just enjoy the wins, and it was bc they were playing juggernaut offenses. Btw, how many points have the Rams scored in the last two weeks combined since they played the Bills? This is the same Dick Jauron defense, bend but don’t break soft bs, except he was saddled with garbage QBs and Coach MiD lucked into the GOAT… Atleast his defense used to be able to force Rookie QBs to struggle… he has to take the play calling from Babich going into the post season. You can’t let the rest of the team, sink bc Babich can’t swim. The defense was atleast a bit more aggressive last year with Coach MiD calling it…
  10. Yeah, it might almost be best the Chiefs just win on Christmas, then they take two weeks off and come out rusty in the Divisional round, and Bills still get to rest starters week 18.
  11. My guess is Chiefs lose on the short week, Christmas Day on the road at Heinz Field, and then pull out a last second win week 18 at Denver... Thus screwing the Bills out of the ability to rest their starters. None of the week 18 start times are set it appears, so to ensure this, the league will almost certainly have the Bills play at 1 and the Chiefs late in Denver… Either way, the game being in Denver, it won’t be a 1pm start.
  12. If memory serves correct, he scored extremely low in cognitive testing, while Bryce Young was exceptionally high and that was believed to possibly be the deciding factor in why they went 1,2…
  13. I just don’t understand what Wayne was doing… not trying to place blame on the guy, it was clearly an accident, but I just don’t get what he was doing in the first place?
  14. Yeah the way they coach the refs up pregame is pretty in incredible…
  15. KC doesn’t boat race anybody, Mahomes has 22 TDs this year going into today... All their games are low scoring, one score wins… with officiating like this, and all those one score games, get swayed in KC’s favor, only way to beat them is the way Buffalo did. Decisively…
  16. Nah, this is the third time now in the past 15 minutes where they’ve called penalties on the Texans that replay showed NOTHING.
  17. Exactly, some of us realize Josh is truly generational, and a championship is finally within reach, it’s just up to McDefense not to ***** the bed when it counts.
  18. Terry is going to have a decision to make this coming offseason when MiDermott craps the bed in the post season like he always does… bc Josh just got engaged to a famous actress who lives out west, and he grew up a Niners fan. He’s always going to say the right thing, but it would be insane to expect him to just keep running it back with Coach MiDermott. On the flip side, if he forces his way out to SF, a team that just got to the Super Bowl with Brock F’n Purdy, him in that Shannahan offense own the NFC for likely the next 10 years. It’d be great if Sean just gracefully bowed out after this year, if they don’t get it done… obviously I hope I’m wrong, but I haven’t seen anything this season that leads me to believe MiDermott has learned from his mistakes.
  19. The game was mismanaged at the end AND HIS defense fell short despite Josh putting up an all time great performance, so in that sense, very much like 13 seconds. The McDefense, despite being full healthy in December had no business leaving Josh and the offense in such a situation in the first place. It’s bigger than just one game, because it just illustrates again, like 13 seconds, no matter how Herculean the effort from Josh, McDermott will always be there waiting in the wings to undo his greatness. McDermott changed the culture here and got the ship on the right tracks but he’s not the guy to get them to the summit. He’s Doug Collins, we need our Phil Jackson because we’re just wasting Jordan…
  20. Maybe they should’ve promoted him…I mean he did make the playoffs with Daniel Jones. Who know, maybe they’ll eventually get him an actual QB down there in Jersey to see what he can really do… Either way, I’d rather not keep playing musical chairs at OC just to keep the same ol’ bend over but don’t break it McDefense that almost always gets shredded by elite QBs, especially in the post season.
  21. Just promote Brady. I think the Bills letting him take a head coaching job anywhere else would be a massive mistake. He’s built something special here with Josh, and this Bills defense is same exact bend but don’t break BS we saw with Dick Jauron except McDick has the greatest player of all time running his offense instead of JP Losman…
  22. It’s the same BS as 13 seconds, and it’s going to keep happening. Josh literally puts on an all time great performance, again, and Sean Midermott can’t hold up his end of the bargain in a close game, again. I get Terry is likely just content with being “relevant” on the national stage, but the greatest player ever to step on a football field might eventually get tired of having his career wasted with a coach who routinely chokes in the biggest spots. We all know a Josh is an upstanding guy, but at a certain point, how many times can he be expected to just keep running it back? If Midermott’s soft defense costs them, again, in the postseason, I just hope we don’t see Josh try and force his way out… he did grow up a Niners fan, and it would be a lot closer to his future wife. I’d probably stop watching football if that happened, but if the playoffs end the way they have every other year under Sean Midermott, I couldn’t blame him.
  23. 10-3 in spite of him… what halfway decent coach wouldn’t be 10-3 with Josh, Brady’s offense, and this cupcake division?
