  1. Glad someone noticed. I really don’t get the point of the 5.
  2. I hear you. Personally, I just find it gross that he gets to run around having fun after getting busted at a spa in Fla with no worries. If a star player committed the same act, they’d pay a steep price with both league discipline and public opinion. He’s worried about freeing Meek Mill, yet the players in his league receive treatment that hold them to different behavioral standards than ownership. I don’t really care about the spa garbage, I just think it accentuates some unfair standards that players are held to.
  3. Plus, high likelihood she’s not married to him if he isn’t an NFL coach.
  4. People have always had opinions on what others say and do. Gossip and chatter are as old as mankind. Attributing the fact that I find Kraft’s antics funny and disingenuous are not a “testament to a societal mess”. It’s simply some of our opinions. He can do whatever he wants, but pretending to be young and hip simply wouldn't be style. That’s probably why I find it off putting.
  5. You just summed up my feelings perfectly. Nothing wrong with having fun, but things like dancing with Cardi B and getting involved in the Meek Mill situation make Kraft look like an old man who’s trying to be hip and relevant. People of all ages are entitled to fun, but some of it seems slightly attention seeking. My thoughts are also clouded by the fact he owns the Pats.
  6. Nothing wrong with having fun at any age, but singing Livin on a Prayer with JBJ and a bunch of random B listers doesn’t make Kraft as cool as he thinks he is.
  7. His attitude is questionable, but he skills are not. Are pointing to his height as a reason to doubt him? I hope not, because he’s been an elite pro receiver for quite some time. His height is the least of any concerns at this point.
  8. All very true, but loving the money a career brings doesn't always correlate with performing poorly at that job.
  9. I know plenty of women who hang around creeps who don’t have money.
  10. Woods is the only player out of those guys I’d want on the current roster. Otherwise, I’d take what we have over any of those guys. Darby, Bradham, and Hogan are all meh, while Watkins injuries never allow him to live up to his potential. Being on a good team and being responsible for its success are not synonymous.
  11. I agree, and I hope he does well with this opportunity. However, the average felon most certainly is rarely offered a well paying professional career opportunity, regardless of qualifications.
  12. I see this narrative a lot, many who follow college ball knew EJ was a disappointment at FSU, so it was difficult to ever imagine him being a good pro QB under any coaching staff.
  13. Sadly, I don’t think wake up calls exist for some of these guys. You’d think the millions being deposited into their bank account would be enough to consider a wake up call everyday.
  14. I’m actually not convinced the snow didn’t help us that game. Had the weather been decent, Peterman probably throws 7 picks and we lose.
  15. Winter is rough, but I wish all these self proclaimed intellectuals in the media would get it right. Buffalo (parts of it) can be exceptionally SNOWY. If you make fun of Buffalo for being cold, then you need to include the entire Midwest.
  16. Absolutely, and what’s most concerning is that last season wasn’t the first where Rivers appeared to struggle with this issue.
  17. I just think that he needs more experience before he’ll be able to match up well against top notch coaches. Lynn doesn’t bring anything cutting edge to the table like many of the successful young coaches do. His job is all about getting the most from a super talented roster. I’m not sure that he’s ready to lead a champion in the short window he has before Rivers retires. With that said, I trust Rivers to show up in big games even less.
  18. Yeah, the Chargers are really good, but I don’t trust Lynn or Rivers in big games.
  19. I agree, there’s too much desperation when it comes to finding a QB. I’m just not drafting guys like Daniel Jones or Blake Bortles in spots where they go these days, but I can also understand with the position being have so importance in the league today.
  20. Yes, I think NFL teams have overpaid a few guys who were very good vs actually being elite. Guys like Derek Carr and Kirk Cousins come to mind. With that said, the majority of the best paid NFL QB’s are elite. I just see the trend of contract demands becoming greater every season, and QB’s are leading the charge. When I see the rumors of what Dak wants, it’d make me reconsider how I view the QB position if I were a GM. I’d never be afraid to let an average QB who I don’t believe will ever be elite test the free agent market. I’d rather draft someone with that potential, as opposed to overpaying for years of mediocrity.
  21. There will always be outliers, but I would never build a team by heavily investing in a mediocre QB. Mediocre QB’s used to win titles far more frequently than they do these days.
  22. The quarterback market could get very interesting in today’s NFL. That position has more value than anytime in the history of the league. Teams are looking for elite, as opposed to just very good. Titles are won in the modern NFL by elite QB’s. I question giving big money to a guy like Dak. I agree that he is a good QB, but can he ever be elite in the same category as guys like Brees, Brady, or Rodgers? In past era’s Dak is a guy you resign in a heartbeat. Now you need to ask yourself if Dak is someone who can win the Lombardi. I’m not convinced the answer to that question is yes. I’m also not certain he can go head-to-head with elite QB’s, and come out on top. That fact alone would make it very difficult for me as a GM to sign him to a big long term deal. Going forward it will be interesting to see if GM’s will start to agree with that sort of logic. I have no issue with the Wentz deal though. It’s simply not as difficult to envision Wentz becoming a true elite QB if he can stay healthy.
  23. Fitzpatrick never has, nor never will have any team in the playoffs. TT and Fitz are both low level starters, and decent backups. They aren’t guys you want leading a playoff team. However, if I had a playoff roster and had to choose one of them to lead, I’d pick Tyrod. TT is consistent and doesn’t make huge mistakes. Fitz goes from looking elite one week, to playing like a slightly better Peterman the next. Taylor could ride the coattails of a good defense and running game to the playoffs. Fitz would always make enough mistakes to knock his team out of the playoffs. For every great game Fitz plays, he plays about four terrible ones.
  24. This is a QB driven league, so I have no doubt that BB will feel the loss of Brady. We’d start to see the Pats lose to teams with elite QB’s, and superior rosters. This doesn’t take away from the fact that BB is a top notch coach. I can’t envision the Pats continuing to hoist the Lombardy, but I’m confident BB would win games. I could see them becoming a middle of the road team who’s always in the mix. BB has a long history of success in the NFL. No question he doesn’t win as many titles without Brady, but he still had a track record as a decent coach. I’m not sure where the narrative comes from that BB was a total bum as a football coach before the Pats. I understand his failure with the Browns, but I think he needed to learn the leadership portion of being a head coach. BB has always excelled with the x’s and o’s. The proof is in his two titles as D coordinator with the Giants, and a number one ranked defense with the 94 Browns.
  25. Exactly. Sometimes us Bills fans are blinded by our disdain for the Pats. It’s ok to admit that BB is an all time great head coach. He consistently makes opposing coaches look like complete fools. BB is on another planet as far as coaching is concerned. McDermott, Gase, and Flores aren’t going to out coach him. The best hope to beat the Pats is their talent declines, and opposing teams can develop superior talent. I don’t see many coaches ready to dethrone BB.
