  1. Just seen some highlight videos of him, looks legitimate. This WR group is missing a big bodied receiver who can go up and grab it. Josh Allen seems like the type of quarterback who would throw it up and give his guys a chance to make a play. All I know, there are going to be some great players in the second round to choose from. It will be interesting which direction they go. Ps. For those people comparing him to Kelvin Benjamin, Kelvin's 40 time was 4.61 and by the time he came to Buffalo I'm sure he was already a shell of that.
  2. Yav you're really banging the table for this kid. I love to see that. I have not seen much of him but I hope you're right and hope the bills take him.
  3. Fair enough, I'm sure that did not help but let's not pretend that's the sole reason why we got gashed. We need someone who can get in the backfield consistently/ generate pressure up the middle. Ed Oliver could be that remedy. ?
  4. Thanks you for this. We all need to be reminded again how bad our run defense was at times. That New England game was an atrociously painful memory.
  5. Oh this is fun! I'm sure we'll be revisiting this topic for years to come. As of this moment, I'm happy with Allen. He was the right choice for Buffalo. It's still early but I'm optimistic he can take us to the promise land.
  6. This is a great point, one which I agree completely. We need more blue chippers at impact positions. LT or D-line for me.
  7. Had a chance to watch the press conferences, here are some thoughts: -Really happy with the Morse pick, genuine dude, great communicator, overall very comfortable with him. - Beasley is going to make the entire WRs better route runners - Gore will provide some encouragement for Shady. Shady will feel young around Gore
  8. I'm also curious as to how that would work. I'm not sure who has what authority with the Pegulas since McDermott was the first one here and the driving force for change. If McDermott fails, I'm not sure the Pegulas would be able to separate their analysis of who is at fault. McD and Beane are attached at the hip in all of this. I'm not worrying about it too much though, let's remain positive and let things play out. McD and Beane are the most competent leaders this franchise has had in a long time.
  9. Who cares what these smucks have to say. They blow and flutter whatever way the wind goes while Beans and company patiently act out their master plan. Go Bills!
  10. +1 for Pegula jet thread ?
  11. Really happy Beane and company. True to his word. Master class performance. Can't wait till the draft and training camp! Go Bills!
  12. I for one am happy the deal fell through. While his talent is undeniable, I don't particularly like the way Antonio Brown carries himself.
  13. Really awesome piece, definitely worth the read. I'm relatively confident in this front office to be able to evaluate talent and the true metrics required to be an outstanding football player/person. How many times in life do we see that the most successful people in their chosen pursuits are not the ones that has the physical numbers/ ideal pasts but rather those that have a strong internal voice. On a side note, how concerning is some of this behaviour of the NFL leadership. What an absolute mob like mentality. There has always been something rotten about the NFL business model. One day maybe I'll quit watching. Just my personal thoughts. Go Bills!
  14. Ah good point, I forgot about the Miami connection. It makes sense. I guess it will all come down to whether they think there is someone in this draft that they think is an upgrade over Carr. Should be fun.
  15. If imagine Mike Mayock could talk some sense into this. I still feel like Carr can be good. I really like Mike Mayock so, I'm hoping he succeeds. The question is will they allow him to do his job.
  16. That was meant as a joke. Misspellings was intentionally done to highlight said joke. I'm quite happy with Josh Allen leading this team. Go Bills!
  17. Does anyone know if (or how) these trades before the league year are binding? Could a team just sweep in and highjack the deal with say a 3rd round pick? If so.. GETRR DONE Beane
  18. One thing to keep in mind, this type of signing provides insurance for the team. A veteran player who is serviceable. This provides them some leverage when it comes to free agency and the draft. They can allow things come to them and not be in a state of desperation. That's when you start reaching for players. I specifically remember Beane saying that.
  19. Meh, I could care less about this signing. I don't want players that have ***** character on this team period. Give me players who want to be here and are team first. This organisation is on the right path, a signing like this would not be sticking to the plan. Onwards and upwards. Go Bills!
  20. This is getting a little weird I must say.
  21. Hello guys, I'm from Hamilton, currently studying in London. I've never been to a bills game. Would love to go in the near future.
  22. I love how the majority of our coaching and a scout team is down there doing what's needed to find the next batch of talent for this team. Say what you want, but I'm feeling very confident in the direction the team is headed. Everything from them stating that they are going to be judicious in free agency, drafting BPA and the importance of coaching/paying their own makes me feel like they are on the way to building a sustained winner. Here's to hoping that's true. Go Bills!
  23. You have to go ahead and tip your hat to the Patriots. Incredible run of success. Unfortunate, it's been at the expense of the AFC but nonetheless impressive.
  24. Here is his exit statement. Chan's Final Statement to the Bills He was a class act all the way. I enjoyed his tenure here. Even though they did not get the job done, you could always tell that they were doing the best with what they had. Bless the guy. I hope he's doing well.
