So you're telling me we held the patriots to 16 (9 given the blocked punt TD) and we still lost. Daam, if you would of game me that score line before the game, I would of for sure thought we would win. I'll have to watch the game in its entirety. Thank-you.

Unfortunately, I work today until 3:30. I'm so bummed out I'm going to miss the game. I'm not sure if I will just ignore all media and watch the game in it entirety after or just check the score constantly during the game. Fall game days are always extra special. Enjoy the game everyone!

If I was the GM if the Steelers, I'd shift my focus to life after Ben. This was a great opportunity to see if they could pick a QB early in the draft. Who knows maybe Rudolph is the guy.

That Steelers pick might be a top pick, given Ben's injury. Not sure what they traded that when they could of used it to draft Ben's replacement. What the dolphins are doing is setting a bad precedent for the league. NFL might have to implement a draft lottery system.

True, it was a soft call but the damage was done regardless. That field goal makes it a two possession game and the Giants aren't coming back on this defense.

Great response by Allen and the offense after the Giants brought it within 7. That drive sealed the game.

I really like the edge cody ford plays with. Hopefully he can translate that into his game.

Well said. It's so true, there is a world of expectation on that kid. Luckily, I think McDermott is just the right coach for him, as he's there every step of the way reminding him to work hard, focus on the process and not get carried away. I'm reminded about the post draft press conference where and interviewer asked McDermott something about how he was feeling about the "potential" of this team and you could see how uncomfortable that word made him. He said something along the lines, that potential is a fool man's gold. Hopefully that sort of attitude will keep internal noise down. I'm very optimistic with this leadership team. They've shown to have good judgement, disciplined in their vision and the ability to change when they get something wrong. I'm just going to enjoy the season for what it is knowing fully well that team leading the ship know what they are doing.

It's great to hear that from Dawkins. It's absolutely the right attitude and I wish him the very best in training camp. One thing though I must state, is that I don't think McCoy has that selfless attitude. I don't mean to give him too much slack, especially now since he's been getting a bunch around here lately but I don't think he's a good leader. He's too concerned about his numbers, he's too unpredictable off the field, and he's too petty about things the little things (i.e. using social media to criticize his OL). That being said, I like McCoy and I believe that he will have a bounce back year but I don't think he should be voted a default captain. I think he's better suited focusing on his own game. It will be interesting to see who steps up as a leader this year. I'm not concerned, because I believe that leadership arises naturally given the circumstance.

Jerry Hughes is one happy camper right now. QBs won't be able to step up into the pocket resulting in more sacks for him.

This is actually a great question. Maybe it's because one is white and one is black? xD I kid... I have no idea but I imagine it has to do with projection. Scouts were saying with Allen that he has some of the best attributes they've ever seen in all the time they've spent scouting. That speaks rather highly if you ask me.

They wanted a young guy in the room to groom for the future. To learn what it means to be a professional from Shady and Gore. This is a leadership development method that they truly believe in building the right culture.
