  1. It's possible. We love Josh because he plays with emotion but we have all seen his emotions get the best of him at times. He was bailing from the pocket early and not seeing some open guys. Kincaid did him no favors with two drops. NY gets in Josh's head too. Hopefully he can have a great bounce back game on national TV
  2. And most of them know they would be better off if he was still on the team
  3. As others have posted, Beane has made three in season trades - Benjamin, Hines, and Douglas. So he is not opposed to making moves. You look at that schedule and if Beane doesn't make a move at WR then you know his plan all along was to reset or rebuild and give up on 2024.
  4. Really bad move by the coach. Their OL is absolute trash. Their WR group is as terrible as the Bills. They run the risk of permanently damaging Maye. They have to know their roster is terrible. Makes no sense to play the kid. Owner should step in and say no. They need to play for a top 4 draft pick and then trade down to rebuild.
  5. Williams is looking better and better but still up and down. Bernard is back. White is terrible against the run so even playing him in a 4-3 doesn't make sense. My guess is he would be considerably better than Morrow and Andreessen. Neither of those guys should be on the roster. I'd have no issue signing him to PS and get him up to speed. If Williams gets hurt they are really in trouble as they have no one on the roster that can play his position except an injured Milano.
  6. Why do announcers always talk up home fans as if they are always the best in NFL? How many teams don't have great fans? Is Green Bay not as good as KC? Pittsburgh? Dallas? Sure LA and Jacksonville fans are terrible. Bit the other 30 franchises all have great fan bases.
  7. AFC Championship or it's a failure. Doesn't mean it won't be entertaining I said before the season anything less than an AFC Championship appearance and McDermott and Beane should be gone. I can live with Beane another couple years because he is mostly competent.
  8. Both would have been upheld. However he used a TO anyways. So why not use the challenge flag if you a going to burn a timout? No it was after
  9. If you truly believe that, how can you then trust Beane and McDermott to make the right moves? They are the ones to get us in this situation To answer the OP question, I don't think they will make any moves. They will beat the Jets, win the AFC East and lose at home in the first round of the playoffs.
  10. Nonsense. If you have the QB you can win immediately. Those others regime changes almost always start with a QB change. Not the case here. Switzer, Seifert, and McCarthy all won championships after taking over with a HOF QB.
  11. That's true but hoarding draft picks for 2025 when they could have made a play for a better WR or at least another one would have been better. Also the WR group is the worst in the league. Look I get it the organization wanted to move on from Diggs. But why do you do it after the draft??? Did we really need a 3rd running back drafted?
  12. You can't waste a year of Allen. He could get injured at anytime. Look what happend to Cam Newton. Beane has failed us and Allen. Why people trust him at this point is nuts to me.
  13. Allen made some bad throws last game but most of those incompletions were not his fault.
  14. The Bernard INT was a thing of beauty. Changed the entire game
  15. I can't believe I am about to type this but... The heavy extra OT is not working because it is so limiting in terms of pass options. Oh god I'm going to vomit.... If they are going to run, get rid of the extra OT and start using Gilliam. Oh sweet Jesus forgive me... Perhaps this is recency bias after seeing what Baltimore has done the past two weeks. But seriously they need to get the TEs more involved and going heavy with two TEs and a FB makes more sense than a useless extra OT. MVS should take all of Hollins snaps. I'm done with Davis. They need to stick with two RBs the whole game. Davis can get snaps in mopup duty.
  16. NFL no? If there is a big game maybe. Honestly I watch more college games. Is there a bigger game this weekend than OSU Oregon? It is a better matchup than almost every NFL game. And Alabama Georgia two weeks ago.
  17. Cmon OP. Many of us lived through back to back 2-14 seasons and we did not move on from our fandom! Ok to criticize players, coaching and management but let's not lose our fandom in the process.
  18. The story of McDermott is an easy one to tell. He crushes bad QBs and against even average QBs he's middling at best. Just not good enough with a HOF QB.
  19. All amazing throws. Good watch the Miami game 17 and he misses Diggs by several yards after he beat the corner by 2 or more steps. He is the best QB in franchise history but he is not infallible
  20. That can't possibly be true. He is running straight up the field. Josh threw it several yards closer to the sideline. It was a terrible throw.
  21. And he still overthrow him. It has been this way since he was a rookie. Its his only weakness. And it's probably never going to get better. We all love Allen but throwing with touch downfield is nearly impossible for him.
  22. Sorry it was a terrible throw. The WR is running straight up the field. The safety was nowhere in sight. A better WR can make that catch but Josh has to deliver a better ball with more air under it. Why is Hollins even running that route. Why is that not Coleman or MVS????
  23. Sorry, but what impact player on offense is down? They had everyone except Shakir on offense. He was a #3 WR last year and at best the 4th or 5th option. If anyone had posted before the season started Josh would go 9 for 30 in a game with the starting OL, both TEs, and all 3 RB's healthy, we all would have appropriately said that would be impossible. Yet that is what we just saw. The offense is in total disarray. There are flaws everywhere. Josh still can't hit the deep throw, OL pass blocking remains suspect, and after three games with only 1 or 2 drops, the drops are back in abundance. They are in crisis mode. They need a primetime win in the worst way. Just figure out a way to get to 4-2 this week.
  24. P = MV and conservation of momentum Josh doesn't move fast enough anymore to generate enough momentum, so therefore when his head ricochets off the turf there is not enough force to cause a concussion... Ps that was sarcasm....
  25. This is a faulty premise. McDermott runs the team. Beane gets him the players he wants not the other way around. McDermott couldn't handle Diggs so he was moved along just like they did with Dareus. The only thing McDermott has improved upon during his tenure is when to go for it on 4th down. He mostly gets that right.
