He’s done fine on special teams. He is far cheaper and just a good as Matakevich. Which is exactly what many of us have said on this thread for years. No need to spend significant money on special teams guys. They can always find a UDFA or late round pick.

Buffalo Joe and Hamlin can’t run. So no worries the roster still has plodders. Joe has been better than Morrow. Even if he wasn’t local he would still be better than Morrow. The whole DL is shaky. Rousseau is very good but I still don’t think he is great. PFF says he wins a bunch of his matchups but still seems to disappear. Oliver is far more inconsistent. If those two can play consistent high level football for two months Bills may just win it all. Carter and Miller can do enough to support those two.

That stat alone makes them a legitimate contender. Like every team the Bills have issues. The DL is a massive worry. Josh stats his first year were terrible but you saw glimpses of what he could be. Maye has better stats but there is nothing to suggest he will be a star. His ceiling looks more like Kirk Cousins to me. Also remember Josh's jump was in year 3 and was unprecedented. His degree of improvement is very very special and unlikely to be repeated. That said, New England has about as bad as skill position situational as Buffalo did in 2017 and 2018. If they add a true #1 Maye could blossom.
