  1. Agree. Just makes you worry. Sometimes guys just want a change of scenery. Maybe they don't have a good relationship with the position coach. As you said no one knows.
  2. So if he has all this upside why is Carolina letting him walk? Seems odd. They have a ton of cap space. Hope he works out better than Murphy, Addison and Jefferson did.
  3. Good assessment except for TE. They have no one that can block and Hollister is just an average guy. If Beane actually goes BPA id be fine with that. I still want 3 front 7 defenders, a TE, and a center drafted. I'd still add a DB with return skills too.
  4. What about Arizona? Hopkins is best WR in football paired with Fitzgerald and now AJ Green. Bills are deeper but AZ is in the conversation
  5. So far I agree. Knox still has a chance to be a star. I never wanted Oliver but I also think he could still get better. Ford and Epenesa could still be very good.
  6. Agree. Im not Beane's greatest fan and don't worship every move he makes. But have to give him props here. I hope he does not come to regret the Milano contract. I would have favored a restructure for Brown but that is admittedly a bit sentimental too. Sanders should be a good replacement - great hands, a little more size, a little more healthy, and a little less speed. The only other move I would have made is to sign a TE. I preferred Rudolph but he got paid more than his value. Honestly at this point bringing back Kroft would be fine. On to the draft and some good young front 7 talent
  7. Good move. I thought he would be gone after they signed Sanders and the way he was not used in the AFC Championship game. Still would like to know what happened there as it was obvious our top 4 WRs were not 100%.
  8. It will be harder to win the AFC East. My guess is they can 5-1 in the division still. Miami takes a step back with Tua while the Pats battle for the last WC spot. Bills have the neat QB in the division. They won't win 13 but they will win the division at 11-5 or 12-4.
  9. Oliver has not lived up to his draft status. Edmunds regressed badly. Even White had a few games where he struggled. Despite whatever win rate means the D-line was not affecting the opposing QB much and to compensate Frazier blitzed more than he ever has. H. Phillips did not look good coming off injury and was outplayed by journeyman Zimmerman. Star will help but they need more talent up front. There is not one front 7 Bills defender that wpuld start for Tampa. That doesn't mean all 7 ate bad. But they need at least one true difference maker and a NT to develop from this draft. And they need to see solid improvement from Edmunds, Epenesa, and Oliver.
  10. I didn't say he was worse than any other GM. And one could argue his d-line misses have actually cost the Bills a chance at the SB. Murphy, Addison, Butler, and Jefferson all turned out to be fairly poor signings. As for Allen, he has no business asking for more money than Mahommes because Mahommes has a SB victory already even if the contract is a year old. Allen will get the second highest paid contract. He will be more than Dak, Rodgers, Watson, and Wilson.
  11. Great post. Throw in a little luck too. Cleveland or NYJ could have taken Allen and who knows how Beane would have responded. Don't forget TT and Shady had two top 5 offenses and Rex destroyed a top 3 defense.
  12. He said the same thing about Seattle and they haven't really been close since Russell threw the pick in the SB. It will be much harder to build a roster when Allen gets paid. That said though Beane has done a good to great job lining up the contracts. Hughes and Star will come off the books when Allen's extension starts to kick in. Morse can be let go. The secondary is locked up for the next several years with contracts that can be jettisoned if Hyde and Poyer's play diminishes. And that will leave only Diggs and Edmunds with upcoming big pay days a year or more from now.
  13. Beane got the QB right. He sacrificed an entire season to do it but who cares at this point. He has as many misses in free agency as he does successes. Still lots of question marks on his drafts. Half this board wants to replace, Knox, Singletary, Moss, and Ford which represents half the top 3 picks in the last two years. The guys that took less money did so because they were all candidates to be cut. They chose less money not to stay in Buffalo but to avoid hitting the open market in year with a significant drop in the cap. Beane used this to his advantage. Now if Allen signs for less money than Watson, Wilson or Rodgers then there may be something to the "hometown discount".
  14. Agree. Honestly I'd give up a 5th for him. There just aren't that many roster spots that are up for grabs at this point. A fifth round pick will be hard pressed to even make the team. Get Ertz, a few front 7 defenders, and maybe a CB or RB. Trade your 6th and 7th roundersfor picks next year.
  15. A mock I saw yesterday had Pitts to Philadelphia. Beane just needs to wait out Philadelphia to lower the price. I bet they can get him for a 5rh rounder this year or a conditional 3rd in 2022. They won't want him around after the draft.
  16. Before free agency I would have said OT or RB but I would wait until 2022 now for an OT in the first three rounds. If you forced me to take an offensive player I'd still go with Harris. Rashan Slater from NW is intriguing and fits what the Bills like with o-line players that can play multiple positions
  17. I’d take the keys to the draft room away from Beane. This team is not one player away. Hell almost no team in the NFL is one player away - certainly not a rookie. Theta.ent level at 18 will be little different that at 30. Let a run on WR and QBs take place and watch the front 7 defenders fall nicely to you at 30
  18. Honestly why not Trubisky again. They could do far worse. Fromm will be a training camp cut and maybe bring back for the PS. Just carry two QBs this year so they can keep an extra linemen or DB. They have two spots tied up for special teams in Matakevich and Jones. So an extra roster spot for a guy that won't play teams would be wise especially if they draft o-line.
  19. They need 3 front 7 defenders in the draft. An OLB, a DE, and a NT to develop. I would have let Milano walk and move Edmunds to OLB. But that is not happening now. So they need to focus on pass rush. I'm still not sold on Edmunds but at this point I would still pick up fis fifth year option so I can can control the situation.
  20. Why all the Juju hate? He danced on the field. So the F what. If Diggs did the same thing the board would love it. There are women beaters, drug addicts, and PED abusers throughout the NFL. This board almost universally embraced cheater Murphy. Many on here were ok with rumors of Kareem Hunt coming to Buffalo. What am I missing?
  21. Puke. At best he looks like a guy that would replace Gilliam. I watched him play. He is not even as good as Kroft. Is this team any better than last year at this point in free agency? No pass rusher. Older but less injury risk at WR. Otherwise the same team plus Star that made a deep playoff run. Kudos to Beane for keeping the Oline intact. Now he just needs to find a couple front 7 edge defenders that will contribute right away and a long term replacement for Star at NT.
  22. If he was really that talented why is he not on the roster already? It can't take two full seasons to learn how to return kicks or play RB. Catch ball. Run. Take handoff. Run right or left. If he was truly a gamebreaker as you suggest they would have found a way to get him on the roster.
