Motor had over 5 YPC when he was in Buffalo. As was pointed out above, prior to today it was 3.4 YPC. How is that looking great?

You beat cover two with crossing routes as well. That's what Brown and to some degree McKenzie did well. When is the last time we saw a deep crossing pattern run from the slot? Oh and as for Gabe he caught 9 balls two weeks ago and two other times he had 6 receptions. So while he is not the most gifted WR he can produce.

And what is McDermott to date? Harbaugh took a physically undermanned team with a great QB to great success in college. Then he took a great team with a mediocre QB to the SuperBowl( winning at Green Bay) and back to back NFC Championship games. He was one missed holding call from winning a SuperBowl and one miraculous INT away from going to a second. McD hasn't even sniffed that kind of success. No SuperBowl. No playoff road wins. No Championship wins.

In paper that looks like a much easier schedule. At this point it is looking like at Detroit. That could be a week 1 game or Thanksgiving game

This is a good take. Some of Davis's best plays are when Allen scrambles and Davis makes a crazy difficult catch on the sideline. Davis is maddening because as much as people hate him for his drops you have to note he has had some amazing difficult catches in big games.

National media likes to pile on good or bad. Right now Bills are a SuperBowl contender that is underachieving. They do the same thing with the Cowboys and the Packers when they had Rodgers. Honestly can you blame them? We've lost to the Jets and Pats two teams that are bottom feeders. Does this mean the season is over? Probably not. It might be with a loss in either of the two upcoming games, but right now if they take care of business the next two weeks they will be in the playoff hunt right up until the end. Does it mean they can't get hot and win a SuperBowl come playoff time. No of course not. What it means is the hot seat for McDermott at least on the national stage will start to intensify. Does that mean anything to Pegula or Beane? Probably not. No one on here even thinks Beane could fire McD even if he wanted to. All that said, if they lose at home on national TV to Denver and a coach that most of this board including me would easily switch for McDermott, this place will explode and so will the national media.

The only good option for the playoffs is to win the division. A loss to KC would give them 5 conference losses.
