  1. Oliver goes down on first series with a knee. Anyone want to defend playing the starters again???
  2. Yet we keep at least 3 core ST guys a year not including the K,P, and LS. McDermott has yet to find a decent punter in 6 years. All those draft picks this year and they couldn't draft a P and K for competition? Yet let's spend time letting a wrestler take training camp snaps.
  3. I will take your word for it. Guy started 3 years in the SEC. I'd give him a shot with the #1s next week
  4. Van Pran should start at C and move McGovern back to RG
  5. Just benched 225 eight times. New personal best!!! Can't belive people are watching and analyzing preseason football....
  6. Unlike Beane their GM is thinking win now while their QB is on the rookie deal. They are in the weakest division in AFC. They have a good but still mostly unproven HC and probably see a very clear path to the AFC Championship game - perhaps at home. They can easily be the #1 seed as all the other teams beat each other up all year. If Diggs gives them 80 catches and 900-1000 yards they will run away with the AFC South. Will Diggs show up in the playoffs for them? Who knows? A 2025 2nd round pick does nothing for them now. As to why they voided his other years I can't explain that. Other than they knew he was a 1 year rental and didn't want any possibility of a holdout for a raise in salary.
  7. No doubt his production dropped. I will admit that. I will add Allen missed a wide open Diggs multiple times last season down the stretch including two 80yd+ TD. But Diggs also dropped one of the best passes Allen has thrown in the playoffs. That was absolutely brutal also seeing that the defender fell down and it would have been a TD. Now that I agreed to those facts... Are you saying McDermott didn't blow the 13 second game? McDermott's defense didn't blow lead at Texans and had no answer for the Chiefs last season?
  8. Cooper is probably pissed. He could have gotten away from the dumpster fire that will be Watson playing only because he has a guaranteed contract. He was horrible before shoulder surgery.
  9. Diggs: 445 receptions, 5372 yards and 37 TDs in four years. McDermott: 13 seconds. no playoff road wins, and lost at home in the division round two years in a row Yup Diggs was the problem
  10. As for comparisons of old rosters TE, LB(remember I never thought Edmunds was very good and LB depth is best it has ever been), IOL, and RB are much better CB is maybe a bit better - Douglas is a notch below White at his best but is a #1 CB and Benford/Elam are better than Wallce/Jackson DT, QB, and OT are about the same DE, Safety, and WR downgrades Despite all the emphasis on STs they have yet to find a decent punter. PK is a wash.
  11. Bishop has a better chance of being on PUP to start the year than being on the active 53 roster
  12. Actually you can worry about injury and you can protect your star players from taking unnecessary risk. It's not a risk if you don't play them. As I've said before COVID proved no preseason is needed.
  13. Trying not to be negative. Let's just say I disagree with McDermott's decision.
  14. Fair enough...you know me I blame it all on McDermott anyways Ideally Brady schemes up a few more easy throws and finds a nice run pass balance. What I would really like to see is our NFL franchise effectively run a basic screen play. Not sure why they have struggled with this but it sure wpuld be a nice play to see. Allen needs to do his part. 4 less INTs and he needs to be more accurate on his deep ball.
  15. Not sure anyone passionately defends Dorsey. But the stats say the offense was better with Dorsey than with Brady. It looked more balanced with Brady and the play calling bears that out, but the offense struggled at times with Brady too. I think with Diggs and Davis gone it's fair to worry about the offense.
  16. Excellent points From what I have heard he is supposed to be helping install some of the RPO concepts that Stefanski doesn't usually use but obviously Josh and Dorsey used quite a bit
  17. Stefanski is still calling the plays this year Dorsey will just help install the weekly gameplan
  18. He does this every year deferring to the veterans on the team. Doesn't mean much right now.
  19. Cook had 6 drops last year. He only had 3 the prior year on fewer touches. Christian McCaffrey had 6 drops in 2022. He had 7 drops in 2019. He had zero in 2023. So I'd say he if McCaffrey is the current gold standard for elite dual threat RB he is not that far removed from the very best. Does Cook need to get better. Yes. But even the very very best drop some from time to time
  20. Wins one SuperBowl and he will surpass even Bruce Smith as best Bill of all time!!! Now just cut those turnovers down 20% this year....
  21. Bass yes Cook no Cook has two years left on his rookie deal. He isn't going anywhere. He's an elite RB. Best the Bills have had since Shady.
  22. Agree with everything you said. If Cleveland has a slim chance at best then Buffalo would have zero chance
  23. Agree 100%. This is worse than than the Herschel Walker trade and the contract is as bad as any ever given out. He was awful when healthy last year. Winston will be starting by week 8 or 9.
  24. Exactly when going to London this year they asked me my purpose using my name before I handed them anything. Which begs the question why can they do that at all the airports and get rid of the security lines or at least speed them up!! Passport control is at least twice as fast as airport security.
