He needs his rest

Something is rotten in the locker room, we all know what it is.

I’m done with this team until McDermott is gone. Good guy I’m sure but really is nothing special in the NFL coaching world. This team stinks.

We are the September champions

McDermott is role playing as a mastermind when the reality is that he’s sitting on josh Allen’s shoulders and is at best average. This type of stuff happens in real life all the time. This team is josh Allen and nobody else. Exactly what all our worst fears from preseason are.

Plateau. Thank you, but you’ve done all you can. I’m sure you could’ve done better if circumstances were perfect. Take your 5’9 ass to the door.

Plateau is powerful

Normally I might think this way, but injuries and a 5 year plateau have zapped my spirits

McDermott coaching for his job imo but the reality is ownership has made an INSANE amount of money under his leadership. Prepare yourself for another chiefs run, including home field.

The defense (or special teams) needs to score a touchdown. Big ask from a mid (at best) squad

McDermott is a fem and this team models that. He’s a small clever little man that is best suited to coach dbs.

This is sum of all fears game. We are a middle of the road roster with a middle of the road management team. Boo this team.

Allen needs to put a little air under two balls, but the fact that the margins are that thin for him is an indictment on McDermott

The falcons are going to turn the ball over 2-3 times tonight. If they don’t we’re in trouble

I’m halfway there, still holding hope. There’s an outside chance the defense figures it out.

It’s the current year?

I agree, sort of. The season itself won’t be over with a loss but the bills will be demonstrating an inability to improve and it will mean they are likely to NOT reach/win the Super Bowl. we’ve plateaued and need to improve. haven’t seen any signs of improvement, look very much like the recent versions of ourselves. win or lose this game we likely make the playoffs, so we’ll have a shot. Need to see the defense grow into something scary or we’re likely not getting over the hump. Has the plateau been sweet? Sure, but we want a Super Bowl win.

This is important. the patriots are likely to get better and better. They also have the benefit of not having much tape out on them (tendencies). with margins being what they are in the NFL, that in an under-appreciated asset.

Need this defense to figure itself out in the next 7 weeks

The jags/colts/chargers might have something to say about most improved but we’ll see. i think what’s most upsetting about the loss to the pats is: before the season started we needed some players (on defense especially) to outplay their contract. I.e. we needed some dudes to come in and play like borderline pro bowlers while also having the guys that have played well in the past continue to do so. We’ve been winning despite those things happening, losing to the pats highlighted those weaknesses. Not because the defense lost the game necessarily, it was losing, itself, that made fears real. to have any chance this year we need this defense to get it together. We need some rookies and free agents to step up. Right now, everyone on defense looks mid at best.
