  1. I remember hearing that Daboll will have very different gameplans depending on the matchup but I just don't think we had the right personnel over the past two seasons to see those gameplans in action. I expect this year to be different. The Jets have a great run defense and poor corners? Ok, then we'll run four wide a ton. Miami has great corners and a subpar front 7? Expect Lee Smith to be active and a heavy dose of the run game and tight ends in the passing game.
  2. Yeah. I'm bummed I can't watch it live but I'll check out the highlights for sure and probably watch it on gamepass too.
  3. Fins-Pats. I'm particularly interested in the revamped Miami secondary versus Cam and the mostly unproven NE wide receiver group.
  4. Jalen Ramsey is the type of player who will gladly bleed his team dry and then have an outburst when his team's not good and not realize that his bloated contract is part of the problem.
  5. Tre White for me. Dude seems so cool and funny. Would love to chat with him about anything and everything.
  6. Ugh that sucks to hear. I'll always have fond memories of him stuffing the Pats on 4th and 1 last year in New England and then us going down and getting that touchdown right before the break.
  7. The Jets grossly mismanaged Adams but they really did get about as much as you possibly could get in return for him. They got worse in the short term but should be better long term for it.
  8. So we're hitting all our needs and with good value. Nice
  9. If a safety was worth eleven points as this article suggests teams would just punt at the one yard line on first down right?
  10. did we win?
  11. I'm not really depressed at all. It was a real bummer that we lost but this was by far the best season of Bills football I have ever seen so, no, I'm not mad. We could and should have won but we blew it. Big deal. Life goes on. Our franchise is positioned well to have sustained success and we clinched the playoffs this year WITH TWO GAMES LEFT. Not much to be mad about imo.
  12. I agree wholeheartedly with the OP. This was one of the easiest losses for me to ever deal with as a fan (my fandom started in the early 2000s). We're in the playoffs and I'm not expecting a championship so I'm just enjoying watching the team as it tries to improve and go as far as they can go this year. Seeing everyone freak out is very confusing to me since this is easily our best season in 20 years. I'm excited to watch the rest of this season and for the upcoming seasons. Go Bills!
  13. As I understand it Indy can still win the division at 9-7 and the Texans would beat us out in a tiebreaker scenario so we either need Houston to win one more or the Colts to lose one more coupled with a Tennessee loss.
  14. Tyreek Hill. It's tough for me to watch Chiefs games 'cause I'm so mad he's even on the field.
  15. And he also dropped in some dimes against one of the best defenses in the league. Yes, he's a backup for a reason but I think he has played at a high level for us in that capacity. If he continues to play like he did for us last year and yesterday I think we win the game on Sunday.
  16. Man I'm excited about this one. Whenever Barkley plays for us he looks like one of the best backups in the league, so if he has to go on Sunday I believe he'll do well even though Tennessee's defense is pretty formidable. Let's get to 4-1 baby!
  17. Tbh there's absolutely no need for the NFL to EVER implement a draft lottery and I don't care how bad anyone tanks. The reason they do it in the NBA is because one transcendent player can completely change the course of your franchise (see: Lebron James) because there's only 5 guys playing at a time and 13 players total on a team. But in the NFL no player can completely carry a team, not even Brady or Rodgers.
  18. In theory, sure. But their GM hasn't drafted particularly well so I'm not convinced they'll even come close to making the most out of those picks.
  19. What are the Dolphins doing? They have like two good players left now? No free agents will want to go there unless they get massively overpaid and their current GM got them into this mess so why would anyone believe that he'll get them out of it? I mean, I'm glad they're in the AFC East but what they're doing is nonsensical.
  20. That's awesome. The most important aspect of this win is how much of an absolute gut punch it is to the Jets. They have the talent to compete but I hope they completely fall apart.
  21. Yes. He's a winner. He should continue to improve as time goes on but it's clear that the entire team believes in him and that's what's truly important right now.
  22. Thanks. I was a little confused by the title of the thread.
