We’re somewhat fossilized in the back 7 and we have smallish LB’s. We always seem to have injuries issues on defense. My guess age and size factors. We have a ton of picks go one WR and then bolster the D.

We dominated most stats and controlled the ball. It didn’t matter KC was extremely efficient all night. Given he scores no, high probability, yes.

You’re fooling yourself if you think TK wouldn’t have factored down the stretch in that game. 5 of 6 15 yds per catch 75 yds tot & 2 td’s. They would have went back to him. AJ was an example, he got smoked a few times and the entire Bills D had no answer for TK all night.

Reading this thread makes me think a lot of fans are posting through red and blue glasses. We needed to run clock, especially given the way the night was going. The defense couldn’t stop a nose bleed. Mahomes with a 1 min + - on the clock and TO beats or ties…. Almost guaranteed. Running was getting tough but I think we could’ve thrown it short with a few higher % quick dink and dunks.

Yup now age 24 vs 30 & eating cap $$$. I hate signing players when you know they’ll be old and washed on the back end of their contract. Paid too much for VM and SD imo.

JA’s game is physical, unless he drastically changes his style as he gets older, realistically how many seasons is our window of opportunity at a legit SB shot? McD has seemed to reach a ceiling, how long do you stay the course? He’s had his opportunity.

For me the biggest issue was lack of creativity and trotting AJ out to deal with Travis. Seriously that was McD’s plan ? AJ is washed. It was such a ridiculous decision. Mahomes and Maauto looked like two kids playing ball in the backyard.

All the posters saying no to Brady are ridiculous. 7-2 using your the old OC’s playbook, while being thrown to the wolves after a crap first half of the season while facing the most difficult part of the schedule. Nah he doesn’t deserve a shot…. Smh! Work on upgrading the WR’s (JA deserves legit weapons) and get younger in the defensive back 7 & bigger @ the LB spots. A lot to be done with the crap $50M cap as well.
