  1. I remember when he did the same thing when Mike Vick was on track to signing w/ the Bills
  2. Yeah, and will that help w/ concussions? Tua should start playing with a Kelso helmet.
  3. You are really gonna pin W-L records on a WR? Also, that TD was the only one Revis gave up the ENTIRE year. Of course those stats look pedestrian because people forget just how dominant he was during the 2011 season routinely shutting down the most elite WRs. Revis was not just the best CB, but perhaps the best player in the NFL in his prime if you look at the difficulty of the position and the production versus him and his counterparts.
  4. To this day I’ve never seen a WR run routes the way Johnson did. It was hard to run press coverage on him because he would just juke out the DB taking 4 or 5 steps running backwards/spinning around before even breaking off into his route. It’s like him and Fitzpatrick were playing street ball out there. I know people will say he only got around 80 yards and a TD against Revis each game, but nobody was even coming close to that at the time. As somebody posted earlier, you don’t get 3 straight 1K seasons on accident. With the way Josh Allen improvises on the fly I think him and SJ would’ve made an interesting tandem. People just don’t want to be reminded of the drought years anymore, but there was a handful of really special players on those teams.
  5. Lol I didn’t say he was the 2nd coming of TO. I said he had a great career for a 7th rounder. The odds are tremendous actually. Hate on Stevie Johnson all u want, but he gave the dark days some kind of excitement and a swagger to those teams.
  6. Stevie Johnson also started very low on the depth chart to become the first (at the time) Bills receiver to have 3 straight 1000 yard seasons. Pretty good career for a 7th rounder.
  7. If Beane feels there is a Quenton Nelson type guard available via trade up then I would have zero issues w/ that scenario. This offensive line is starving for real talent. We don’t have one single elite player in that area. Someone like that could be game changing and is well worth the resources. Def do not draft a RB anywhere before round 5 😒
  8. Facts. NOBODY wanted Maybin. Orakpo was the consensus pick for 90% of fans on the Bills forums. Stupid stupid pick. At least Whitner went on to have a decent career.
  9. Well they won a playoff game so they were better than 50% of all contenders.
  10. His art is pretty good. I checked it out awhile back.
  11. That’s are quarterback !
  12. Some players need time to develop. People act like the writing is on the wall for Basham & Epenesa. Even Rousseau to an extent. These guys still could become good or great players. It’s nice to have guys dominate on their rookie contracts, but the DE position usually takes a few years and to come into their own. Basham only has 2 seasons under his belt. I am a huge Gabe Davis supporter. Take away his drops (which has never been an issue in years prior) and he would’ve been well over 1000 yards. 836 + 7 TDs is a SOLID season and statistically puts him in the upper echelon of #2s. Combine his numbers w/ Diggs and that his amazing production from your 2 outside WRs. Hopkins would be nice, but he is a luxury considering the glaring problems on the offensive line. As far as Ed Oliver goes…I think he is a massive disappointment for his draft position. Buffalo should unload him for whatever they can get. It’s pretty sad when you get outplayed by journeyman 31 yr old Daquan Jones. There is really no drop off whether Oliver is on or off the field which makes him expendable. Buffalo should try their luck on a later round athletic developmental prospect. The top picks need to be offensive oriented. The defense is still going to be a top unit without Edmunds or Oliver.
  13. Cam could have some value as a short yardage QB like teams have done w/ Brissett. 17 rushing TDs in his last 23 games. His arm is shot, but he’s def still got the wheels. Obviously we are good in that department, but he may be able to contribute elsewhere. Love or hate him, he’s one of the best physical specimens of all time up there w/ Jamarcus Russell, Luck, Culpepper, Vick, Allen, etc. And he was one of the few able to actually put it all together. His run was brief, but he revolutionized the position. Without Cam Newton there 100% would be no Josh Allen playing for the Bills for obvious reasons. Put some respeck on his name.
  14. I love his ability to rush the passer. They could draw up some interesting packages w/ Sanders. With that being said, please draft the best available guard.
  15. This offense would break records w/ a TE like Kittle/Kelce/Andrews. I love Knox and he’s very clutch, but he’s just not on that level. Unfortunately, it’s almost as hard to find an elite TE than it is to find a franchise QB so I would draft a good WR prospect over a good TE prospect.
  16. Jim Kelly was overrated. A guy like Marino or Elway would’ve won at least 3 rings w/ that roster. McDermott is a great coach (which isn’t unpopular amongst non-Bills fans.) Kept this team competitive every single years he’s been here. Diggs/Davis combo is one of the best in the league. The statistics actually back this up.
  17. Would be cool to have 2 Safety’s named Siran Neal and Ryan Neal I guess.
  18. Yeah, that’s where his value is at. He must be an amazing Xs & Os guy or he’s got major dirt on some top NFL people. Must’ve overheard something w/ those satellite dishes on the side of his head.
  19. This is one of the only defensive players I’d be okay w/ in the 1st round. I think he plays much more aggressive than Edmunds + the name Jack Campbell is a cool name for a Linebacker.
  20. Bills could’ve had the real Jason Peters. Just kidding
  21. Idk. I think Josh SHOULD force the ball to Diggs. Look what happened when they stopped doing that. It seems like the Bills win when Diggs puts up a good stat line. I don’t think the answer is getting rid of the only elite skill player on this team and only sure-handed receiver. I do agree that they definitely need to allocate resources elsewhere (not the defense) specifically the offensive line. I’m in the minority here, but I think the skill players are just fine. Watch everybody become good all of the sudden when Allen has time to throw and the RBs start getting lanes. Seems guys like Brady/Manning/Brees got it done w/ whoever their entire careers. The common denominator is they all had good O-Lines. Maybe I’m old school, but build the trenches. Beane had the RIGHT idea for the D-Line, he just didn’t hit on any of those picks.
  22. I appreciate your kind words. This is one of the many reasons I love this fan base. Cheers and a toast to those who are no longer here 🍻
  23. When it’s all said and done Davis will have an Emmanuel Sanders type of career. He’ll string together a few 1000+ yard seasons, but I think he will consistently hover around that 800-900 mark w/ an annual 6-8 TDs which is NOT bad. I definitely think he is under appreciated on this board. The Diggs/Davis combo is one of the statistical bests in the league. No, he is no Jaylen Waddle or Tee Higgins. If Buffalo can find a guy of that caliber then pull the trigger. For now I am happy w/ Davis. I don’t think the book is closed on career and I expect a nice bounce back season along w/ Dawson Knox.
  24. I lost my older brother a couple years ago at the young age of 31 so I have a real soft spot for Knox. The fact he was able to even continue playing is crazy w/ barely any time to grieve, but I’m sure it weighed heavily on his thoughts & performance. These players are people too. I have a feeling he will have a huge season next year.
  25. This could be a very underrated signing. The one thing I trust about McD/Beane is their DB evaluations. Poyer & Hyde were fairly mediocre Safety’s before they came to Buffalo.
