I had a feeling when I saw the news, i'd see you here going wild haha

This scenario basically changes us from being 52m over to about 41m over. All the cap prognostications for us were factoring in a bump already. It being a little more than expected didn't take us from where we were to being able to go out and get Tier 1 Day 1 FA's. And the bump happened for everyone. Meaning the teams that are in better shape can now spend more money than they expected on those big FA's. We're still in no position to even attempt to get into bidding wars.

Things like Evans, Jones, and Pittman are still a pipe dream. The good news is that it will take less to get us under and we'll be able to afford to fill another hole or two more through FA in the tier of guys we can afford.

ok ok,you win! Let’s explore bringing Trent Murphy back then…

I don’t think so. He hasn’t accomplished squat. He’s at the midlife of his career and do we know what we have in Josh? Is he good enough to take us to the Super Bowl? Does he have the leadership skills for his offense to perform when the chips are down?

if yes, when will he take the next step, get over the hump.

if no, enjoy his time here.

I would like to have Daquan Jones back but I think he probably signs with the Chicago Bears right away in free agency.

I was told by a reliable source that he packed up his entire household in Buffalo after the season and moved everything to Nashville............he could have waited on that if he thought he might have to stay in Buffalo.

As much as I liked him when he was on the field, it was 2 seasons in a row of missing valuable snaps from injury, and we need to get younger at the position anyway, so I’m good with the Bills trying someone else out there. But no doubt he was very valuable when he was starting.

I'd sooner believe Tom Brady will come out of retirement to play RB for the Jets next year...

    My unpopular opinion:

Josh Allen IS a turnover machine... He's just good enough to make up for it.

Except he doesn’t turn the ball over in the playoffs. 21:4 TD to pick ratio is pretty solid!

Unpopular opinion: Morse needs to go now. I know we skated by in 2023, but he’s a health liability both for himself and the team if he’s our starting C again in 2024.

He played about as well as his athletic profile could allow for, but still not good enough ultimately. He doesn't have a playmaking bone in his body.

In fairness his Oline did him few favors in the 4th Q in obvious blitz downs…

The QB of equal caliber has been beaten by Mahomes 3 of last 4 seasons in playoffs.

You're just whistling past the graveyard man.

Except that you cannot pin our losses on poor QB play where boneheaded coaching blunders and/or grandma defense gives games away. Josh has consistently played well outside of the Bungals game in the playoffs…

Here's a wild ass theory I saw today.  With Jim Harbaugh going to the Chargers, Belichick goes to coach Michigan.  Now here's the wild part, Tom Brady, since he has been away from football for a year now, is considered an amateur again, and can claim his 4th year of NCAA eligibility and go back to Michigan as their QB.

I’d watch that. Would be incredibly entertaining and fun to watch imho.

  8. Saleh is a great coordinator talent, but not even a satisfactory HC, imho. We’re blessed to have this organization in our division year after year, even tho for some reason they do always play us tough. Can’t wait to see Rodgers fail to elevate this franchise, and thus slow their necessary tear down process by another year in the meantime.

It makes sense, Josh can probably only relate with other Superheroes 😛

As a big MCU fan and of course a die hard Bills and Josh fan, I thought it was pretty cool that Josh got with Kate Bishop. I actually really enjoyed the Hawkeye show.

She and Florence Pugh, who plays the new Black Widow, had really fun chemistry:

Likewise—Hawkeye was a great show and looking forward to her role in the MCU going forward. She also brought a sense of humor to the series that was very refreshing imo.

  10. Sad. Alcohol used to excess is bad enough without adding a vehicle to the mix—he’s lucky it wasn’t worse, like Andy Reid’s kid causing that awful dwi wreck a few years back. I have a relative who just finished his 3rd detox tour in as many months and is now at a long term sober living facility—that addiction has caused him to lose a lot in his life. 😞.
