I was in 513 with my son and I had to search for Panthers fans. If it wasn’t for Bills fans there wouldn’t have been any atmosphere at all. On the way down the concourses the chants of let’s go Buffalo were prominent as well. As others have said, the streets were also flooded with Bills mafia….very similar to Atlanta a couple of weeks ago but a much better experience due to the dominant on field performance.
This was my son’s 2nd ever Bills game experience and I’m thinking it’s as close as we could get to being at a home game away from home! Loved every bit of it as did my son—except the ongoing passing game issues which made things look harder than they needed to be for Josh—while Allen missed some throws, more often than not we had no one separating if even an intermediate route was being run…but again, overall a fantastic day in Charlotte for the visiting fans…

It is extremely hilarious people writing off the Pats as meh and they can't possibly be as good as Buffalo. Vrable is 10x the coach McD is and he finally has a QB, this team is poised to run over Buffalo for years to come.
I hate the Pats with a passion but most of those coaches the owner have won so they know what it takes to win whereas our coach, nah, isnt ever going to win anything.
Not looking forward to being New Englands B word yet again, WTF!
Bro, this is an outside possibility at best, imho. You’re entitled to your opinion, but let’s pump the brakes on this as an outcome until the Patsies have proven their staying power under this regime! Vrable in TN did less than McD has here, IIRC…

I was in section 521, and all I saw was a sea of red/white/Bills blue…oh, and zubaz…😁. I almost felt sorry for the few Panthers fans I could count on one hand, as anytime the Jumbotron demanded noise it was crickets, and when it demanded quiet, we roared…it was a thing of beauty!!!!!

I like it but also worry with one week of limited practice, how in game shape and solid can he even play right now? A sign of the desperation times in the secondary…

Don’t love this combo, but like the rest of ya, we just gotta find a dub somehow…can’t afford to drop another one we should’ve won…

My son and I.
Same here!! Hopefully my son will be a good luck maker for us again—last game I took him to (his first) was against the Chefs in Arrowhead 2023 with the infamous offside call that Pattycakes went nuclear on to the refs about…

Another gift by the zebras to the Chefs, shockingly on what would’ve been 4th down for them otherwise…that’s one way to keep the stats for Patty looking great!

Cody Ford for the dub!

If McD took over play calling, then I’d have to revise my previous thoughts.
I feel the defense did a much better job pressuring a young QB in the 2nd half. Pressuring while keeping an eye on a couple of stud playmakers.
If true. Babich isn’t on the hot seat as much as he’ll jettison himself. I’m sure he’s a good enough coach to coach up the players on McD’s defense and maybe not so much calling the plays. If he had the play calling stripped away, I don’t see him staying here. On his own accord.
Then the problem would kind of take care of itself, as it were! 👏

This seems like an easy button bandaid for the Bills to press during the bye, and for me would be the first order of business…then it’s up to the training staff to help get guys healthy asap while the front office picks through FA or trade options to help out where possible…bottom line, no vacay for OBD!!

Too many Bills starting on my FF team is usually not great for IRL outcomes, ‘cause that’s how my luck works…sorry for not sitting Cook, Shakir and Coleman!!

If the Bills of the 90's who had the best franchise roster on all facets of the ball couldn't win even one SB, how do we even possibly think that with the roster we have today, that we would ever win a SB?!?
..........serious question.
Bc everyone else is looking down the barrel of roster issues as well—back in the 90’s the teams we faced in the Super Bowl were stacked in every sense just as much as we were if not more? Parity today makes it easier to get to the playoffs despite serious roster problems…

Bills solid rebound, 31-19.

With or without a strongly worded letter sent to his locker? 🤔

I'm a helmet addict so this would be my dream career. I actually took a volunteer coaching job at my old high school, and now I design, order, and put on all the helmet decals.
Is it fair to say decals never come shipped from the helmet companies already applied? Every team has to handle this job on their own? Also, how difficult is it to remove/and adhesive residue left behind? Do you ever use a heat gun on them?

Grunts? There are probably hundreds of people on TBD alone that would literally love doing that job.
💯 agree so cal—myself included. My point was made tongue in cheek and not artfully phrased. I meant it more along the lines of this being apparently a completely OBD operation (as one of the workers is clearly wearing Bills gear) as opposed to an order sent to a specialized vendor to supply this service for the Bills, like the helmet company or the decals supplier, etc. Just speculating here, but probably the same folks handling issuing weekly equipment or laundry or any number of other jobs in the building, are also tasked with the double duty of decal swaps?

Stumbled across this in my YouTube feeds. Found it interesting that even for a top of the line league like the NFL, the prep of changing out helmet insignias and color schemes is done by some grunts eyeballing placement of glorified stickers akin to finishing hobby work on a model airplane…no 3D printer level precision here! 😎

Keep in mind that back when the Bills began, the players bagged groceries in the offseason. I highly doubt that you’ll see either Josh or his starlet wife working the produce section at Wegmans this spring.
If they did, I sure hope they can point me in the right direction for sourdough bread? 🤔

Does it seem to anyone else that the standing buffalo now is a little larger than it used to be? Maybe the helmets are larger than they used to be in the 60s and the buffalo was enlarged to compensate.
Looking at the hype video the Bills released about the standing buffalo, it seems like the 1960s helmets had smaller buffaloes. There's a clip in it of Cookie running, about 80% of the way through the video, and the buffalo looks smaller than it did on Joe Ferguson's helmet. Maybe the Bills made the buffalo larger during the OJ years.
I’ve got a fever, and the only cure is more cowbe…er, buffalo!! You get it. 😁

We will need a daily celebration of life, just in case.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution plans to be 100% digital by the end of the year. No more print, any day of the week. Think of all those young paper boys out of work!
I get the AJC Sunday paper and this one really stings Augie—I’m weird like that I guess—I’m a Gen Xer but I love the experience of reading the actual newspaper and not endless popup scrolling on my phone. I figured the size of the metro market and healthy subscriber base relatively speaking would insulate the print version, but alas…

Why did you only give us the ability to choose one option????? An “all of the above” would’ve been nice 😊…
