No, we need to win the super bowl.
These players right now aren't even celebrating our win, I guarantee you they're dialed in I want to slay the beast. They want to beat Kansas City stand on the corpse of that dragon, intake on the super bowl.
The kids say stand on business, that's what this team is doing. They're standing on business.
Bro what a sigma statement!! 👏🤩🤣

Given what we’ve done at Arrowhead in the regular season the past few years, combined with a W this week…could we then start calling it “Highmark Central” just like we used to call Joe Robbie in Miami “Rich Stadium South”? Wouldn’t that just send Chiefs Planet into a frenzy and get in the players’ heads 😅?

I dunno, I usually enjoy listening to WGR fwiw…sure there are some crazies out there, but I feel like generally the hosts do a passable to good job with it all. There are lots of hours to fill, unlike podcast creators who can curate/edit their shows at will.

On the flip side, we didn't actually win because of Allen, which is rare.
Also nice to know that’s actually possible now and then 🤷🫣

I dunno. I’m still torn about that, and feel like I would’ve bet on Josh more than Bass with the game on the line…but obviously I’m thrilled it worked out this time!!!

Nope. Take that MVP home Lamar and stay warm while watching us play to get to the Super Bowl!!!

This is part of what sucks having a defensively minded HC; so much of Allen’s growth stems from good offensive coordinators imho, and we all saw how a bad one, Dorsey, muddied up the sauce. Then when we do have good ones, they bolt after 1-2 seasons for career advancement, which I can’t be mad at, but still sucks…

Bills - 62
Ravens - 5
Since I believe this prediction is the one closest to reality, I shall pull a “Price is Right” classic undercut (or is it overcut🧐): Bills 63, fleabirds 3.

I’m wagering this former President would’ve been a fan!

Definitely don’t love this hire for our sakes…but we should still be the better team anytime Josh suits up.

And so the carousel twirls on. So glad the Bills got off the Merry Go Round and have enjoyed some well deserved stability under the current regime!

I could say similar things about many Bills fans. A large portion of the online fanbase talks about a 15-1 team like they're nothing. I've seen numerous posters say they're not even worried about KC. Allen is clearly superior to Mahomes and "everybody knows it," Bills would've beaten KC easily last year if not for injuries, etc etc. Many predicted a 20+ point win before the divisional game. Can't imagine what those people would be saying if the roles were reversed and it was the Bills with 6 straight AFCC appearances and 3 SB wins.
That said, I think it's silly to generalize a large group of people based on a few loud voices.
All part of the fun that is NFL fandom, imho. Of course we (there I go over-generalizing ;)) would be just as if not even more insufferable than the defending SB champ fan base if the roles were reversed…also, I did throw in a qualifier that my experience was anecdotal fwiw. 👍

Based on what? Do you even know anyone from KC?
@Successis spot on! I have extended family and multiple friends who are die hard Chefs fans, and it’s almost so bad with their sensitivity and yet simultaneous condescension, that we can’t talk football unless it’s confined to discussing say, the craptastic show that is Aaron/Jets…the rest of my family are Steelers fans so let’s just say it’s been a hoot growing up as the only Bills fan amongst all that…anecdotal evidence I know, but it’s all led me to hating the Chiefs more now than the Pats of yesteryear, and that’s saying something, lol 😆.

Sierra, I am now worried he is not going to get the call up due to the numbers and the positions that they need to cover.
@machine gun kelly @NoHuddleKelly12 I know this is self serving, but I really think the NFL, for the sake of the health of their players, would change this policy for the last two weeks of the season. Maybe not unlimited call ups, but you should be able to call up...let's say 5 players.
Honestly, it ends up being for the betterment of the league with respect to the health of some of its players and showcasing some of the younger ones.
I can’t disagree with any of your points, but just a small digression if I may…my single greatest frustration with the league heading into the end of the season (and frankly ever since the Bills began owning the East again), is that the league stole a bye from all but the 1 seed, which is ridiculous and took a system that was not broken, and devised a ham handed “fix” for it instead. And we’ve been on the short end ever since. Recall all of the injuries from the Steeler WC game last season that forced us into a situation of playing Mr. “RV” Klein against the Chefs? My prediction is that someday we will have an 18 game season, and a return of the 2 seed bye—but will that happen soon enough?

McD has earned a lot of cushion (warranted imho) for the way the Bills responded this year to losing so much of their core cadre from last year, and being almost universally expected to have a rebuilding middling type year at best—all whilst dragging along a staggering dead cap hit of 64.2 million!! Yes Josh Allen’s continued maturation under Brady is the single most important piece of this, but McD has created the environment and culture to allow that process to thrive.

A great vignette showing what is possible even in the darkest of times such as that war…good reminder of that OP. Also reminiscent of the Christmas truce of 1914, when soldiers spontaneously laid down their arms and locked hands across the bloody trench lines of Western Europe for a few inexplicable days of peace and “fraternization” with the enemy (that their superiors could not understand and sought to prevent). The 2005 movie “Joyeux Noel” depicts that event, fwiw.

Not a lot out there. Leonard Floyd has 8.5 sacks for a very mid 49ers team. Tremaine Edmunds will finish with over 100 tackles but Bears fans dislike him more than we did.
Occurring at an average yardage gain depth of 8.5 on first down, bet. 🥴

In fairness the refs were awful, how many phantom PI calls was it by the end? I lost track 🙈.
