  1. Love me some Reich. Just not this week please.
  2. I don't know, I guess you could ask Clemson? He was ok in college with occasional flashes of good, and pair that with an NFL roster, lacking though it may be against other NFL competition, and is this then a serious question? How many times does this ridiculous hypothetical of <insert college team, usually 'Bama> would beat this or that sucky NFL team <this year, the Bills>, and each time it's as worthless a throw away question as could possibly be had on this Board.
  3. that 2016 Rams squad also started Goff as a rookie through at least half of that year, with predictable results.
  4. Definitely not fake news
  5. Well I was going to buy them with my winnings from a 5K bet against the Bills that someone else on here said was a sure thing, but...
  6. Exactly! I think the point of the post was that we are still better than 1941, when real men played the game.
  7. If the Bills win next week, then we are still going to the Super Bowl this year!
  8. Mix in some seasonal pumpkin spice crispy O's and it's even better!
  9. "I brought my pole vault today son"
  10. I'll be generous and start the clock from Flutie Flakes on, old and washed up as he was, he still provided a very entertaining and solid stretch while he was here.
  11. I can't jump on that bandwagon, sorry. Besides, with the WR, line and Daboll efforts being what they are this year, let your imagination run wild as to how additionally sub-par Tuel Time and TL could go! Back then there was at least an Oline and 1 or 2 guys capable of running a route with a little bit of heart.
  12. And then there's this guy posing as a Bills trainer...who let Belichick's spygate video intern past our crack Bills security team to play doctor and make doubly sure JA probably won't play against the Patsies in a couple weeks? Obviously the last bit is in jest, but still, these guys appear totally unconcerned about the pain level the kid was suffering through?
  13. Without digging into this too deep, Cowboys 89, Rams 1st yr Goff, Browns last 2 yrs (maybe—they are the Browns after all), Indy (suck for Luck year), Jags 2016 (worst to 1st), Bills 84, 85. I’m positive there are more
  14. Hey it’s all about perspective when the rebuild bulldozer is busy crushing playoff dreams Exactly—he was having trouble containing himself with all of the preseason interviews concerning how he couldn’t wait to match up with this kid—oh, and last I checked, Gruden is an offensive guy considered a QB savant and workaholic film cruncher genius (I did enjoy watching his corny QB camp show I admit) and yet the results so far are worse than McBeane’s rebuild. How does that square with the logic usually employed by the Negative Nancy contingents on TBD that McD doesn’t know offense so is doomed to fail with JA?
  15. Agreed, and I can’t imagine DA will take much longer to at least know the basics, especially given he was in a Daboll system in 2009, although of course the verbiage will be completely different
  16. We did have to, Miami is on record as wanting him right behind where we took him at 16
  17. The guy was serviceable at least for a number of years in Pittsburgh, so I wouldn’t hate them taking a flyer and see what he’s got to offer. A career 86.2 passer rating, so there’s that
  18. I don’t either, but I also know bottoming out is sometimes necessary to gain needed draft capital, shed burdensome K’s, etc. Hated the average 6-10, 7-9, 8-8 mediocre staple that was the hallmark of the drought years just as much as this too, because it was too good to draft top 5, and too bad to make the playoffs. I know the name “Sully” evokes strong reactions around here, both pro and con, but I’ll never forget his description of the Jauronimo years as “a heroic march to 7-9” where hitting that sweet spot was tantalizingly always just out of reach. I just really need the process to deliver double digit wins consistently when this rebuild is all over. Is that too much to ask?
  19. This at the end of the day ladies and gents, is why NP is going nowhere. The Bills simply have no additional bodies to start at QB. At a minimum he will be backing up DA.
  20. Just when it seemed like the OP itself was as bad as it gets... Will definitely have to get right on reviewing his tape...but what's in my memory is not promising
  21. Wow, really? I'd say they came up from the Baltimore basement quite nicely, and I would also note that being on the field for the majority of each game can't be easy either, yet they remain opportunistic and hungry for the ball. The fact is they can't play all 60 minutes by themselves, and time of possession will eventually wear down even the best D's out there. For the most part they played lights out yesterday. You can't blame that side of the ball at this point any longer.
  22. I understand. I try to compartmentalize the regimes so that I don't always have to think about the previous ones failing. And remember that at the end of the day whether they win or lose will not change the course of my life (or yours) or even the weekend for that matter--other than Sunday afternoons.
