  1. Agree with everything, just minor correction - there are 2 void years, both have dead cap od $1M, so total of $2M accounted for in 2026. Deal is really good value for the Bills imo.
  2. Yeah but it is not only before DQ signing. It also doesn't count AJ, Cam Lewis and Morris, as well as Dawkins extension and Knox redo.
  3. This would be fine, hopefully not more, even though I think he deserves little bit more. Maybe with some incentives build in.
  4. How come last year no RBs got paid and now the same guys are getting crazy contracts? I know this RB draft class is percieved to be weak but still... Anyway, I am happy it's not us who pays RBs (and hope it stays that way).
  5. So a 3rd round comp pick which will be somehow demoted to 4th round from no reason at all?
  6. This is a good point. If Von and Knox can restructure their deals to include some incentives (I assume it is also Knox's case), Bass is primary candidate to do the same.
  7. Thanks a lot, but I don't think we understood each other. I knew everything what you wrote (at least I think so haha), but my question was slightly different. Pls look at Sportrac again, there are two "Matt Milanos" out there in both 2025 and 2026. In 2025, he has "regular" cap hit of $16,122,000 and dead cap of $2,586,000 in orange. And what I say is that I think that orange line with dead cap shouldn't be there, since it is already included in his actual cap hit of $16M (or to be exact, $1,293,000 is included in cap hit in 2025 and other $1,293,000 in 2026). My question is if this is right, i.e. if Sportrac really has it wrong and the other Milano line shouldn't be there (making our 2025 cap situation better than it shows). My understanding is that you actually implicitly confirmed it above, but want to make sure.
  8. Contract details are on: $1,5M signing bonus, $2M cap hit this year, $3,25M in 2025, $750K dead cap if released next year. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/mitchell-trubisky-21743/
  9. Thanks for this. I think it is really hilarious to praise 49ers front office for Lance trade conveniently forgetting how did they get him in the first place. They are well run organization but they also make their fair share of bad decisions. No it doesn't. Because if it does, then Beane would have to be totally incompetent for not knowing that. He clearly counted with the 3rd round pick and if it was like this we had no chance to get one. There is something really weird going on here. I'll reserve my judgement until Beane says something or we'll find out more in some other way. It all speculation in this thread up to this point.
  10. @Tuco, I saw you around explaining things... Could you please have a look at Sportrac and confirm that it is showing nonsense about Matt Milano's dead cap in 2025 and 2026? Besided his normal numbers he has another row just with some dead money ($2,586,000), which are apparently last two years of prorated signing bonus restructured in 2022. These were originally void years, but in 2023 they were "covered" by extension so this dead cap should dissappear and become part of his regular cap hit. Therefore, those 2025 and 2026 dead caps should not be there, and his only dead cap is $4,889,000 in 2027 (void year for another signing + option bonuses), right? In other words, we actually have more cap space in 2025 ($35,319,356 + $2,586,000), right?
  11. Another wow today. Thanks for everything Tre. Really a shame that his career was destroyed by injuries.
  12. Came to post this. Fully updated with today's move including Douglas, but Hines is oddly still there. Not sure if they don't think it's official or what. So if Hines is really released, we are at -$15m.
  13. Haha true. But I'd add that there are probably even more players passing through that hallway today...
  14. We already know. $3.5m was converted with 3 void years, creating $2.6m cap space this year and same dead cap in 2025... https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/rasul-douglas-21841/
  15. I loved Morse and he was great for Josh. Thanks for everything Mitch. On the other hand, I absolutely love what Beane is doing last 3 days. It gives me hope that he is serious with getting younger and keeping cap situation as healthy as possible. This might mean he can manage this year without needing to touch Diggs' and Miller's contracts, which would be huge.
  16. It's moving so fast that nobody knows. By the end of the day we will be $100m under the cap lol
  17. Wow. Are we sure we have still Beane as GM?
  18. Like I said, won't happen. We are drafting WR.
  19. Cmon, just stop. 1. Beane is too smart to draft safety in the first in general. 2. There isn't one close to be worth it this year. 3. We are drafting WR in the first this year almost no matter what.
