  1. Oh, You didn’t watch the preseason? He won the completion. And it wasn’t a race to the bottom. He played really well. In fairness, most fans don’t watch the preseason though.
  2. Bro. You drafted Darnold and Taylor? Even in a two QB league, that is a wild mistake.
  3. Yeah, but you aren't taking into the consent issue. I would bet you anything that Dr. Andrews has a consent provision in his policy.
  4. In New York, the average physician carries, at most, $2.3 million of coverage. Now, Florida may be different, and Dr. Andrews may carry some hefty umbrella coverage, but I doubt it is to the tune of $160 million. He would have to sue alot of doctors to get to that number.
  5. It seems counter-intuitive, and I can't fault you for thinking that, but I can tell you with 90% certainty I am right. Ding Ding Ding.
  6. There is usually a strong argument that even tipped balls are the fault of the QB. But not with these. Those interceptions just killed me, I mean the WRs practically threw them in the air for the DBs. Man, that pissed me off.
  7. Its tough, because two of those interceptions were not on him on the slightest. All the same, most of his throws were short dink and dunk type stuff. That can work but not the way it was done this week.
  8. Especially since they have already proven they can get us to the playoffs.
  9. If Peterman wasn't the obvious starter after the preseason than you should just never have position competitions. That would also mean, though, that you are telling the locker room that no matter how well you plan (or how poorly you play), you will never win the job (or lose the job). You really disincentivize competition that way.
  10. Good luck. Sounds like his injury was a recognized complication, not medical malpractice. In any event, Andrews is clearly not the target of the lawsuit, and he, more than the co-defendants, will certainly not be found liable. Real garbage move naming doctors in lawsuits without any liability, especially those with that much notoriety.
  11. 17 years without the playoffs and now he thinks making the playoffs is below him. Nice.
  12. I mean, we can all trick ourselves into thinking what we want to think about our team. Benjamin just needed a second chance; Miller needed to grow into the position; etc. That doesn't make it true or reasonable. Thats why fan opinion is the worst opinion. You really set yourself up to believe most of this nonsense.
  13. "Hand picked" implies that there was some sort of investment; that these guys were part of his vision for the future. Weren't they signed to small, short term deals? That is hardly "hand picked"
  14. Pegulas have been through a tank with the Sabres. They know how bad a team can look and what it feels like to lose to rebuild. I wouldn't be so quick to guarantee anything.
  15. Sure they could have stopped it, gotten us to a 6 or 7 win season, but whats the point of that?
  16. I am pretty sure that aside from Bodine and Dawkins the entire Oline predated McDermott. I just don't think you can be taken seriously when you says the offense is "hand picked." It strikes me more as an offense he has only started to work on. And Nate Peterman played really well in the preseason. It wasn't a race to the bottom. He honestly won the job by playing well. His regular season play has been farrrr from what he did in the preseason.
  17. Fair. But fan opinion is pretty skewed. Look at national and local media opinion. Here's the thing, McDermott and the whole organization went all in a QB, a QB that is not playing right now. When they get him back, play him for the rest of the year and next, and are still that bad, then I will be all in on firing him. Until then, its just a team trying to set up to build for the future. They were always going to be bad (fan opinion aside).
  18. The Bills have been exactly what everyone thought they would be going into the year. If it crashes and burns next year then sure, you should lose faith. But right now, this year, if you expected anything different then you just weren't paying attention before the start of the year.
  19. The difference between them and the fan base is that, although everyone knew this was coming, they have the maturity to power through it. This year was about clearing cap space and developing Allen. Everyone knew it was going to be a losing effort.
  20. The “someone needs to get fired” thread is the adult version of a temper tantrum. Just as unoroductive, just as childish.
  21. He got hit. You can have the best line in the league and guys get hit. He was injured because of the number of hits, he got injured because of where he was hit.
  22. Lolz at this board. Its really all code for "we are losing so the rebuild isn't working" You can really hide it in whatever justification you like, the fact is you don't like the pains of a rebuild. Step one was always get the QB. Now they got him. Now they build around him. Its hard to judge the progress of Allen because he hasn't really played and has been denied the chance to develop.
  23. Well, lucky for you, I believe in this staff and think we have our QB. The years to come are gonna be a ton better than this misery. (I reallllllly hope)
