  1. Last year the Jets held opponents to 3.3 y/c. Today we averaged 3.1 y/c. Sure, it could have been better. But this is, for the most part, a massive nothing-burger.
  2. That was one of two trullllly problematic throws I saw today. But its still not enough to say its a "consistency problem," ya know?
  3. Yes. Holy cow. You literally have to not watch any other game in the league to think this is unique to JA.
  4. What is a consistent? Outside of Mahomes, I watched every QB in the league (that played) miss wide open WRs today. Jeeze, did you see Brady today? JA missed a couple, but there is nothing unique about that. Stats don't tell the whole story--no one who watched that game walked away thinking the pass protection is a problem. As far as the run game, well, the Jets did have the best yds/c run defense in the league last year.
  5. All QBs miss throws. Its getting to a point where these comments survive more on preconceived narratives than reality.
  6. I dont think they ever expected him to start this year. He is a developmental player. He wasnt brought in to compete with Murphy—that was always a debunked fan theory. He was brought into replace Murphy/Jerry after one of them leaves next year.
  7. This of course flies in the face of the actual result of the viral videos of fans jumping through tables.
  8. One has been to the playoffs twice in three years, and the other has not. Are you serious with this?
  9. God I love message boards. People like you just don’t exist in the real world.
  10. Your premise is right, but it would be a stupid game plan. The Jets strength is their D-line and run defense. Their overwhelming weakness is their secondary and pass rush. Passing is by far the best option.
  11. I would. Fans are stupid about punting on the other side of the 50. It happens. It is what it is.
  12. Pretty sure Chris Brown said Epenesa was that playing more DT than DE
  13. Just when I think I have the NFL rules figured out....
  14. I'm guessing teams want to hold on to their waiver priority.
  15. WR is always overvalued by fans at this point in the pre-season. In truth, they are a dime a dozen. Apparently the Eagles let go of the most talent?
