  1. This is stupid. There was one drive where they "really" got away from running the ball. ONE drive.
  2. That headline is pre-recorded. I think they were just too lazy to go back and fix it. That, or they simply forgot to fix it.
  3. I think he was out by that point. But I am pretty sure the offense got much more conventional (more 11 personnel).
  4. Gilliam is our only option. My problem is that Gilliam is NOT a very good blocker. This makes our offense less dynamic. I suspect by a wide margin, but we won't know for sure until Sunday.
  5. Knox is super important to how our offense is run. He fills a nice H-Back roll. Kroft CANNOT fill that roll. Its not about pass catching. Its about how Knox lines up all over, and can block from numerous spots on the filed--Kroft just cannot do that.
  6. To be honest, I don't think the Jets are as bad as weeks 1 and 2. I can see them clearing 6 wins.
  7. You would be surprised how often medical providers commit medical malpractice and suffer relatively minor professional repercussions. I'm not even entirely sure that this incident would rise to the level of medical malpractice, but I have no idea what the standard of care is in this regard.
  8. This is pretty spot on and exactly how I feel about it this weeks game. This game is more about who we are as a team than whether we can increase our playoff chances.
  9. I don't even understand how their defense was so good. Outside of Donald, Brocker, Ramsey, and Johnson, that is a terrible unit. We will be able to pass all day. My guess is they move the pocket a ton, and run to the outside.
  10. This game feels alot like the Eagles game last year.
  11. Edmunds ability to eat up space in the middle of the field, even on play action, cannot be understated. It is essential to our defense.
  12. I agree with all of this. Its just I don't think NFL teams think this way. That said, Edmunds is fine (somewhat obviously in my opinion). Milano is really the only guy that might sit. Milano is more likely to sit than Edmunds. That said, if Milano was really that bad, they would have placed him on IR. The fact that they haven't speaks volumes. So too does the fact that they have no looked at any other LB options.
  13. I'm so excited for the next four games--one way or another, we get to find what this team really is. I don't care about power rankings, though they are fun to read. But setting that aside, they are truly meaningless.
  14. Yeah, but until then there is nothing wrong with limiting his play time. They put too much on his shoulders last year. I just don't think they need to do that again with all the WR weapons they have. Also, and this is my favorite part, their offensive line this year is realllllly good. They just don't need the extra blockers like they did in years past.
  15. I don't know about back to back travel, but I'm pretty sure they are something like 8-0 in east coast travel games. They handle it absurdly well.
  16. He is confusing entertainment for quality analysis. Sure, they are super entertaining to the people that follow them. But no body looks to these two for quality analysis. It makes sense that Ted would not understand the distinction.
  17. You know the sky is blue, right? Oh, are we not just shouting irrelevant responses to posts?
  18. Our starting defense only plays 2 starting LBs. We don't play 3 LBs often. My question is: does anyone else thing he could make Milano expendable?
  19. The thing is that he did kick a few extra points as well, sort of contradicting the "he was shook" narrative. I guess we will see how he does next game. I don't want to give up on him like we did with Dustin Hopkins. I think Bass has a future in the league.
  20. After the first missed field goal (the one that was actually good), he missed his next field goal attempt. I can see how one would interpret that as "looking shook," especially since the legitimately missed field goal is within the range of what should be "automatic" for an NFL kicker.
  21. “Good Fitzy” is as good as any QB in the league. If that version of Fitz shows up I am absolutely terrified we lose the game.
  22. Fun fact, Logic, appeal to authority is, in fact, itself a logical fallacy.
