  1. Isn't it NFL network? Can't the NFL absorb its own losses? Wouldnt they do it to keep COVID from tearing the season apart.
  2. They switched up the DT rotation. It made a world of difference.
  3. Yeah, but the easy answer is to move the Bills/Chiefs game to the weekend.
  4. Sure, but outside of playing again Donald, Allen has had nothing but clean pockets. Even when there is pressure, its not coming until 4 to 5 seconds after the snap, which is phenomenal. Now the run game? Thats a bit different.
  5. The OL is one of the best pass protectors in the NFL. I just don't think fans really know what they are looking for in judging the OL.
  6. Same. We have thrown our social norms right out the window, and the results thus far are not promising.
  7. No. If you pass, but dont get the completions and the first, the Raiders get the ball back without having to win an onside kick. Yes, you do. You have no idea what you are talking about. Well coaches teams are no more likely to recover on an onside kick.
  8. EXACTLY. Man. He has a real KirkCousins/Matt Stafford vibe. Tons of stats. Never gonna win.
  9. This cracked me up. You think youre saying something clever, but you end up looking really silly. Turns out yards dont matter much if you dont get points.
  10. This is wrong. The Bills played to run out the clock. Guess what happened. The clock ran out. Mission accomplished.
  11. Lol. I love this board during or immediately after the game. Kills me.
  12. To achieve the result of today's game--to burn enough clock that the other team doesn't have enough time to come back.
  13. No. This happens on under thrown balls. The receivers slows down for the ball, which the guy covering can't see, initiating contact and creating a PI situation. Happens all the time.
  14. I watch the Batstool NFL show. It is a 1000x more entertaining
  15. Its the DL. Losing Star hurt. Q is getting pushed off his spot, opening big old holes.
  16. Its the timing. They have to make sure everyone else is negative. If the positive test came Tuesday, itd be different.
  17. Says the guy who just learned what play action does to a line backer. Love this.
  18. This made me die laughing. Thanks for that. Im glad I could be here for your discovery of the play action pass.
  19. Ok, we are in the trust tree here. Do you really think the stat passes defended is the appropriate metric for understanding what role Edmunds plays in our pass coverage? Like, if you really believe that, its just a matter of learning about how pass defense works in the NFL. You don't have to continue not knowing how this works. But you have to first admit that you don't quite understand. Maybe you're a novice; maybe your an offense guy. That's all fine. But you have to ask first.
  20. THAT comment. That comment right there. That is how I know you have no idea what you are talking about. 90% of what makes him so effective is he deters passes over and through him. He makes throwing over the middle of the field so much more difficult. This is the equivalent of saying a CB is a good defender because he has a lot of tackles--it just completely misunderstands their role in the defense.
