  1. I agree. I am not sure why people think we are set at LB. Posey's done, Spikes is coming off a serious injury and may never be the same. Fletch while still good, has slowed somewhat, and has never really been the "best" to make it to the probowl. Crowell, okay he's quick, but he can't get off blocks, and is horrible at filling lanes. So I agree we will take LB early, and possibly 2 in the draft.
  2. It's secretaries day. But since that is considered "non PC" it was renamed. I hate PC.
  3. BTW, here is a good write-up put together by the state on the cost of gasoline. Before anyone starts, we have a dummycrat as governator so if anything they are probably skewed to bash the big bad corporations. http://www.oag.state.va.us/Protecting/Cons...ion_website.htm
  4. http://www.gaspricewatch.com/usgastaxes.asp Virginia appears cheaper on the serface, however, the added little fees kill you. 17.5 cents per gallon, plus the 18.4 that the federal government collects. Then there is the .6 cents per gallon for "storage" costs. Also, where I live they station charge a 2% transportation tax which right now works out to roughly 6 extra cents per gallon.
  5. Mark I was actually thinking, we should just keep trading our 1st rounder for a 1st and 2nd next year. Think about the math. And if we kept trading all first rounders for a 1st and 2nd the next year, in only 6 years we would have all 1st and 2nd round draft picks. But you know people would still B word about something. Year 1 - 1 Year 2 - 2 year 3 - 4 year 4 - 8 year 5 - 16 year 6 - 32
  6. Friggen Army. They seem to have forgotten their role in the world. They are there to do, not to !@#$ing think.
  7. Oh admit it, you'd do Franken as well.
  8. Well when you say it like that.
  9. I can only imagine the crime you will commit to see him there.
  10. I'm sure cablelady will help out on #4, she will let anyone sleep under her bed.
  11. My daughter and I were discussing this last night. She feels that since there is some question overall about his role and how much direct work on the attack, that he probably doesn't deserve to die. I disagreed, but she also made the arguement that it is probably going to be a lot harder on him, know ing that he is going to live and not die a martyr, and therefore that's what should happen to him. Smart kid.

  13. I believe that's connects you with the secretary in the front office named jenny.
  14. But people don't want that in their backyard. That's the issue. The last time someone submitted approval to build a refinery was 12 years ago in the US. Do you know why? Because people don't want them anywhere near them. The administration has a good answer IMHO for it, they plan on using the bases that are on the BRAC list to house refineries. Sure people will hate it, but part of the problem, more so then oil prices is the few refineries. When they have problems it's even more of a problem. Add to that the refined oil can no longer go into the pipeline intact but must have ethonal added once it hits it's destination also increases cost. If there were more refineries, closer to the delivery points and ethonal could be added there, it would reduce costs.
  15. I am sure he wouldn't have done it if the plastic cup didn't provoke him.
  16. I do not believe his/her IQ is that high. You're being kind today.

  18. Here's mine, I got the 69. The Machiavelli personality test has a range of 0-100 Your Machiavelli score is: 69 You are a high Mach, you endorse Machiavelli's opinions. Most people fall somewhere in the middle, but there's a significant minority at either extreme.
  19. What I don't understand is out of the hundreds of Generals that have served for Rummy, only 6 question him. To me that's pretty darn good. I know at work most of us hate our management and are pretty outspoken about it. If only 6 out of hundreds hate a guy then maybe he isn't hard enough.
  20. No, if Tom tried to fire a weapon he would shoot his eye out.
  21. I believe the Skins drafted a qb in the first round last year as well.
  22. Obviously you haven't hung around there. They throw some awesome parties. I mean some real humdingers. That alone should keep them in business.
  23. No they are heading the commission.
  24. It all depends. Meathead showed a high level of stupidity in his first year and I was ready to can him after the Pittsburgh game. Greg Williams on the other hand while ineffective, and conservative, to be honest I still feel he would have developed into an okay coach. So it could be as little as a year or possibly 3-4 years. It really depends on whether he looks lost on the field or not.
  25. You're are correct he did get one star, I believe in '91. I had forgotten about that. But again, he saw his "star" rise with the election of Clinton.
