It maybe an issue, but again the whole story isn't being divulged or it is glossed over here. First off, most ARM's do not go up 3% in a year, usually it is capped at 2%. Second, they got a short arm very a very high rate to start (7.5%). That meant they were already subprime. Finally and not to pick on old folks but these 2 are well into there 70's and the husband approaching 80. Why are they refinancing at this point in their life. These folks have probably had poor money management their whole lives and this is another case of unfair and poor reporting.

I don't quite understand your reply, but this never made the news. When Murtha was bashed, it made headlines at how bad the WH and others were that this "hero" was being raked over the coals. Yet here we have a newly returned Command Sergeant from Afghanistan who called Moran and Murtha out saying they are lying to the people about moral, and how things are going. Did this make the news? Hell no. Why not? because it doesn't fit the agenda and the lies that the media continues to feed the people. Because they want bad news. Bad news sells. if the world was all roses and there were no problems, noone would watch the news. They don't play the good, because people want the bad, the "fantastic" stories.

It has nothing to do with a "party system" per say. Delay may or may not be a crook. But to sit there and bring joy over his downfall is stupid, and hurts his congressional district more then having him there, as they now loose seniority. Delay last I check has never been convicted of a crime, Moran has. Delay is front page news and is constantly beat upon by the press, yet Moan who has been convicted and served time, and continues to be openly corrupt gets a bye. This is politics at it's worst, period, and I was just bringing up that lots of Congress critters are as bad or worse then Delay, yet because of "politics" and media perception, you never hear about it. And I choose Moran, because he was my congressman for a while, and thankfully we were redistricted away from him. Because of that and actually meeting him a couple of times, he is probably the slimiest character I have ever been around. Although now I have one of those weird districts from hell where the congress critter lives 200+ miles away and really is supporting the Norfolk area, but we got cut in somehow.

You need to do some leg work then. I don't know much about Mckinney, but Moran has done everything he can to push throw and work the system for credit card companies, consumer loan companies etc.... He is as bad as anything Delay has ever done, and maybe worse since he does it on the door step of the captial and in the district that houses Washingtons home, etc....
