No, but last time I checked it was the "smarter" school that had lacrosse and did well with it. Tell me again the last time Buff State or UB won the national championship in lacrosse? Usually it is Syracuse, Hopkins, Princeton, etc....

The problem with Hilton Head and golfing is 2 fold. First off later in the year (after June) you can't really plan as you have issues with all the hurricane watches. So if you go it has to be early part of the season. Which makes it a longer drive and not really doable on a weekend like Williamsburg or Pinehurst. The second problem is the majority of the area is or at least was control by one group. Which really limited any pricing control, as there was a monopoly in the area. therefore staying there was expensive, although nice, and playing there was equally expensive. A 3 day excursion would run well above 800 per person. I can get the same stuff with as good or better courses in Pinehurst and Williamsburg for under 400. Just not worth it for the extra drive and extra cost.

You can play with some of the packages for about a 50 premium at Kingsmill. I haven't played the River Course but I will this year.

Also, another place to consider is Williamsburg. You have Golden Horseshoe, Kingsmill, TPC VA Beach, and plenty of others. Being from Richmond, you probably know that, but others may not.

I understand, but, that is something you have to do once. Also, if you check out there direct site, they run specials where you can do a stay and play for a night on #2 for less then 300. I was planning on going down this year but the person I go with and myself schedules did match up. I'll probably go next year, and yes I will play #2 at least once.

I don't even know if Shumer is a dem or a repub, so let me start off with that. But, it seems to me that he is stepping to the plate a little too late. It' now a big issue because Ralph and crew are starting to realize that they can't sell the team, and be solvent in WNY now. The debt load, and the fact that they lose revenue sharing is in the contract. To me it's politics, and trying to win the hearts of WNYers knowing that there is noway that the team will remain in WNY beyond Ralph's life. It's too little way too late. This should have started before the new CBA was talked about and finalized.

I haven't tried that. I had the Edmond Fitzgerald, Eliot Ness and Burning River. All of them were at least good, but the Dortmunder is by far the best.

VA nickle and dimes us to death. Car tax, property tax, own a boat, get a boat tax, registrations, income taxes, big time usage taxes for a lot of things, and over the last three or four years the governers have raped the colleges and seen tutition go up about 50% at least. Not sure it's as bad as NYS, but we also have to pay for garbage which used to be free when I was in NY. Also counties pretty much double any taxes on prepared foods/restaurants so that i higher then NYS.

I just tried this a few weeks back, and really licked Blue Moon a lot. But I still say Dortmunder Gold by Great Lakes Brewery is the bext beer out there.
