  1. Oh and I always had a soft spot for Eric Metcalf, great returner and receiver out of the backfield
  2. Christian Okoye, the Nigerian Nightmare. Always loved watching this giant play. He was more like WWF character than a RB. I hadn't really heard his name mentioned for years and then suddenly they made a Football Life episode about him, which was cool. Always liked Barry Foster as well, and our own high stepping Kenny Davis.
  3. Yeah, way too early to say if anyone was completely right or wrong, but always interesting to see the early reactions. Looking forward to logging on during this year's draft. Would be interesting to go back and see the initial reactions when EJ or maybe Maybin were drafted!
  4. Actually after watching all the snaps I could see why they were so enamoured with him. There was a point in one of the games that took place in the middle of a snow storm where he led a scoring drive towards the end and then ran to the sideline and was getting in his teammates faces, ultra fired up. That was the point when I began to look forward to seeing him play for the Bills. As lots of people said last season, it's not just the stuff on the field that excites me about Allen, it's his whole demeanour during the games. Love his attitude and competitive streak.
  5. I wasn't posting here then but I was reading. as someone who doesn't follow college ball I was very interested to read what people here had to say. In the end I just went and watched all his games from Wyoming.
  6. Didn't realise there was an archives section here so I found the thread where we drafted Allen last year. Makes for an interesting read to see the initial reactions again. Any of you guys changed your minds at all now? Stand by your opinion? On the fence? https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/205086-rd1-pick-7-josh-allen-qb-wyoming/
  7. Barry's the best I ever saw. Never saw Brown play
  8. Senorise come every mornin' Senorise come every mornin' Senorise come every mornin' Bringin' back the warmth to the ground https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwoZARwAcqM
  9. HE. COULD. GO. ALL. THE. WAY!
  10. I was carrying my deceased grandfather home from the crematorium today when I bumped into Antonio Brown. He was pretty pleasant at first, but when I mentioned that my grandfather was a lifelong Bills fan he knocked me to the ground and pissed in the urn. As he ran away he started to sing a Diana Ross song. Such a ***** diva
  11. ***** the Patrio… huh? He said something good about one of our players? Cool!
  12. On the one hand I feel bad for the guy, but on the other I'm like "whoo! Some Bills news!" I just think RB is such an easy position to fill now, especially if you have a solid line. All these guys coming out of the mid to late rounds and giving great production. They can grab a guy in the draft pretty easy. It's one area I don't worry about too much.
  13. It's actually quite funny, but I hope he pulls his hamstring all the same
  14. I actually searched for Sullivan's 'new' website the other day because I wanted to see what his thoughts were on FA but realised the last article posted on there was late last year. I guess that little venture fell on its ass pretty quick
  15. I just like the idea of having a Josh Allen on the field for the whole game.
  16. I'd be shocked if a lot of teams hadn't enquired about him. Especially if they want a third and maybe a late round draft pick as well. From what I saw of him last year I thought he has the potential to be really good. I also think he has the kind of attitude that this set back in his career won't wreck his confidence. To be honest I think in the long run last year's first round crop of QBs is going to be one for the ages.
  17. The more competition in camp the better. Take a guy like Teller, even if he thought he had a great chance of keeping his starting job, now he knows he has to work that much harder to be the day 1 starter
  18. These super duper steroid-charged advanced analytics are all well and good, but what the hell is wrong with just watching a player over ENTIRE games (not just highlights/lowlights) and making your decision based on that? All this ***** about breaking down Allen's throws, the angle of his head, the microchip in his brain telling us what he was thinking about at the moment the ball was released, how long his finger nails were and whether that effected ball trajectory. All you really need to know is that when you watch every play from the season he obviously improved loads as the year went on, and he has all the intangibles that these metrics ironically cannot measure. I'm sure these analytics would have told us Tyrod was a better, more accurate QB than Allen. Watch the two of them play a significant number of games and you realize which one you'd rather have.
  19. Worst case scenario is he doesn't make it through camp. Best case is that he ends up being much more adept at this position. If he played TE earlier in his career then he must have some of the fundamentals down. As Rap says, a cool story to watch in camp.
  20. I am not Fisher but I know him really well and let me tell you I've been working out with him and Brady and Rivers and lots of other QBs and let me tell you this deal with the Bills is gonna get done. Trust me, gonna happen
  21. Well we converted a te into a hall of fame tackle!
  22. If I had an extra arm in camp that I really liked I'd cut Anderson on the understanding that he'd instantly switch to an assistant coach, devoting all his time to Allen
  23. I meant I wasn't 100% sure if it was LEVY who picked Whitner, rather than it was Levy who picked WHITNER.
  24. I clearly remember pretty much every Bills fan back before that draft lobbying for him. Funny how a lot of the time the fans really do seem to know more than the idiots in charge. It pains me to call Marv an idiot (pretty sure he chose Whitner) but in that case it's hard to argue against
  25. I love it when people disagree with the masses. It makes a person really unique and hip, like flat earthers
