like how the wr left himself lots of room towards the sideline giving Burrow more area to get him the football That was really nice -

Nice thing about games like this is you see all these "elite" guys play against quality competition and watch who really pops out. -

Sammy Watkins: New Teams, Same Bad Attitude
DuckyBoys replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sammy would be a luxury for the Bills. There will always be questions about his availability. I'm curious if he gets yet another big payday. I also wonder if we will ever see that huge year from him. Sure looks like the crazy explosiveness is still there -
Jimmy might belong in the Hall just for the Herschel Walker trade What a fleecing and how he hit on virtually all of those picks

Trubisky is mentally weak. Were comparing one guy who always take the blame on himself to another who asked for the tv's to be turned off in house so he would not face the media's criticism . Bears created a easy offense for Mitch to run with endless quick short completions near the LOS Putting the burden on his skill guys to make something happen. Bills asked Josh to carry the team on his back behind a complicated system and with below avg at best skillset of weapons.

Browns hire Kevin Stefanski as HC; Andrew Berry as GM

Guess were going with continuity -
They finally move on from Bill O' brien or did the win over the Bills grant him a few more years to waste Watson

Shenault is very intriguing . Tee Higgins looks slow I dont see him as a much different to Duke Guess the combine will tell but he looks like a 4.65 40 yard dash type of tall rangy wr -

Cody Ford fined over 28k for illegal blind side block
DuckyBoys replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to say the NFL is out of control with the protecting the refs Its ok to just come out and say they got a call wrong That was a marginal call at best and to fine the guy seems like wagging the dog to me -
Hyde and Poyer - Disappointing stats.
DuckyBoys replied to Happy Days Lois & Clark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills offense time of possession was 29:59 for the season which strangely enough is very similar to the stat for 2018 By eyeball the offense was much better in 2019 then 2018 So that stat is probably more skewed by the style the defense plays At some point McDermott/Frazier need to be more aggressive on defense. After all its not the offense that allows 15 play drives. That said a lot of those longer drives were extended by sloppy tackling which again might be from fatigue. Sometimes you gotta take a shot to get a team off the field instead of waiting for them to mess up on their own. What we can hope is that 1. the offense gets more potent and the opposing teams press more leading to turnovers/less wear and tear on the defense 2. we get a elite edge rusher or someone develops that can dominate at the los without needing to scheme pressure No offense to our D line but a lot of the pressures were from stunts/scheme and coverage. -
Did anyone hear mike ginnitti from spotrac on wgr

Perriman would be well worth a look He appears to be finally rounding up into a player approaching his draft status Big and fast exactly what we do not have on the roster. Should be a reasonable price and still young and ascending -
Sure hope so . Needs to be better with personnel usage As well as not over thinking things I always wonder why the jet sweep was not a staple function in every game? You would think we would attempt it to test the edges at least a couple time per game vs a Frank Gore up the gut run on 2nd down. I have my fingers crossed we get some elite talent on offense in the offseason to take some pressure off both Josh to execute and Daboll to scheme the perfect play

Hyde and Poyer - Disappointing stats.
DuckyBoys replied to Happy Days Lois & Clark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Poyer was a bit lackluster Feel like his name got called good portion of missed tackles and breakdowns. I agree their stats would look better if teams were attacking downfield which is not where they hurt the Bills this season. Or if we were more of a attacking defense vs the bend dont break approach. Tackling in general was sloppy and more so the second part of the year. When you play a lot of zone and allow short catches you have to limit the yardage after the reception with a quick clean tackle I though the Bills were a bit suspect there (this is not directly aimed at Poyer/Hyde) Checkdowns seemed to be a Kryptonite this season -
I'm torn between continuity or a fresh approach. On one hand the talent around Josh is still suspect though improved by leaps from 2018. On the other hand bizarre personnel usage and continuously out thinking himself seem to be Daboll trademarks. Maybe year 3 with talent added is the charm. I think we'll know very early next year. I did not see a huge change production wise over the course of the year. Games they executed at a very high level the offense was good Games there were snafus the offense sputtered. Need to see more explosiveness (talent) Also less of a need to be perfect on every snap to get drives into tds. Really feel the offense is too dink/dunk for Josh Allen's skill set but that may have been the result of the personnel

Notable Nexflix / Amazon / Premium Channel Series & Movies
DuckyBoys replied to Heitz's topic in Off the Wall
Season 1 was very good with a mystery element. I got bored in Season 2, very political bit slow moving for me I guess Amazon picked it up for a new season so I may try and get back into it. I have no clue what is going on but its been enjoyable so far (have a few eps left) Probably helps if you read the novels/played the game which I have not. The Dark a german sci fi show was very good (only watched Season 1 so far) -
RIP Neil Peart

what kid growing up in the 70's/80's didn't air drum to a Neil Peart solo? Always a killer live show Blessed to have seem them multiple times over several decades RIP Professor Dead or in the background. Kids listen to Pop/Rap. Electronic music means less kids interested in playing instruments/being in bands. I don't listen to much produced after the 80's and my sweet spot is 1970-1976
