  1. Completely agree. Williams and Paradis/Morse are my top targets. If they can sign them it will be a successful free agency. WR free agents suck. If they have to add a veteran (probably a good idea) then as long as they don’t overpay I’ll be happy.
  2. Absolutely. I hate Antonio Brown as much as the next guy, but he’s far better than anything the Raiders have had in, forever? And Le’veon Bell, I feel people forget how great he is. Both as a rushing and receiving threat. Those two alone will easily account for a couple more wins for the Raiders next season.
  3. This is what I’m leaning towards as my preference as well. BPA in the 1st at nearly any position. TE/WR in the 2nd and 3rd.
  4. The problem is, Metcalf’s tape, albeit limited, doesn’t back up him being a “slow” WR at all. I think it’s more likely he was nervous, tight, slipping, you name it during his cone drills. His per game production is perfectly fine for a WR of his age. In fact, he was more productive than Julio Jones at his age. That being said, I’m still wary of him at 9. I won’t hate the pick, but I won’t love it either. It doesn’t have anything to do with his production moreso his injury history. I’m always super wary of guys who can’t stay healthy even in college. In addition to that, this is a deep WR class. Your going to get a good one in the 2nd, maybe even 3rd. So I will advocate not going WR at 9.
  5. Great game there. Bercovici’s second start was infinitely better than his first.
  6. I’m pretty sure the teams have representatives in the Hard Knocks editing room. They can push whatever narrative they want. We saw it last year with the Browns. The episode where Corey Coleman was traded all they did was trash him the entire episode.
  7. Honestly give me anyone of these receivers. I see star potential in so many of them this year. Part of the reason I’m torn on taking one at 9. I think your getting a real good one in the 2nd round.
  8. Getting the first pick in the 3rd round for Tyrod was wizardry by Beane. It was a steal when it happened, looks like even more of a steal now. Tyrod was not good, coming off a horrendous playoff performance, and everyone knew we were dumping him. Also, he ended up starting two or three games for the Browns. Baker comes in and easily outplays Tyrod. It was just an all around horrendous move for the Browns.
  9. And Bercovici having a great game so far
  10. San Diego going back to Mike Bercovici ?
  11. Absolutely not worth it for the Saints. They have an extremely solid offense that really doesn’t need AB. Bringing him in would not be worth the risk of messing with that offensive chemistry IMO. Only a matter of time before he would blast someone who offended him.
  12. I would take Rudolph in a second too. In regards to Allen, no loss at all IMO.
  13. The thing is, they would have, if he hadn’t gone completely insane. Before all this crap, 31 teams in the league would have wanted him. The asking price would have easily been 2 1sts. So if his end game was to really be traded I think he would have just shut up. At least his agent would have told him that, maybe he didn’t listen. It really makes me think his end game was outright release. If that is the case, he’s played the situation perfectly so far.
  14. Definitely. Even without Antonio Brown I think it will be Oakland. Gruden is a personality, seeing how he meshes with Carr is a good story line. Add in an impending move to Vegas and 3 first rounders and it’s a great spot for Hard Knocks.
  15. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FuncDe00.htm I think Beane and McDermott have access to this advanced resource as well.
  16. Jets are not eligible due to a first year coach. Five eligible teams this year are Oakland, San Francisco, Detroit, Giants and Redskins.
  17. Free agent WR crop is trash and they need a veteran in the room. Funchess would be a good one to have. It isn’t like they are bringing him in to be WR1.
  18. I honestly forgot he was on the team until reading this. I was thinking of edge yesterday and had Hughes, Lawson and Lorax pencilled in. Although with Murhpy’s Injury history it’s probably all the same.
  19. They would have to volunteer. Otherwise they are not eligible for mandatory inclusion.
  20. The entire off season with the Antonio Brown fiasco I’ve been saying “I don’t care where he goes as long as it isn’t Buffalo”. I can’t believe it almost actually was Buffalo
  21. Give me TJ Hockenson or DK Metcalf.
  22. As Antonio Brown would say “fake news”. Steelers would just cut him if that was the return for what they give up.
  23. Oh he is far from my ideal receiver. But the free agent crop of WR’s this year is trash, and Williams, the best of the worst, is likely signing with the colts. I really don’t want to overpay for a completely average WR, but we definitely need a veteran in here. With the Carolina connection I believe Funchess will be that veteran.
  24. Lang, Williams, and Paradis/Morse is my dream free agent shopping list so far. If I am entering further into dream world, give me Jesse James, Devin Funchess, and TY Yeldon. Yeldon as a backup RB to spell Ivory and split with a, hopefully, rookie drafted RB. Funchess as a 2-4 receiver. Jesse James as a 2 TE. Go into the draft with your needs on offense as WR, TE, backup OL, RB in that order.
