Thanks, I didn't think what I was throwing out there was too insane. This team has yet to go all-in on offense under Josh Allen, and hey, maybe they don't need to. I'm a firm believer in the process so will assume balance wins, but I still think it's pretty accurate observation that this team largely focuses on defense.
Taking bpa offense for once? I’m largely playing devils advocate since I don’t mind the pick, but our lack of offensive depth is pretty scary at this point. Here’s hoping for a 4th round diamond in the rough I guess.
I like Epenesa a lot, safe pick, but is anybody really surprised by the reaction when we’ve got a still largely unproven 3rd year QB and Dobbins and Mims on the board? It’s not whining it’s a simple difference of opinion. They gonna load up the offense in year 4 or 5 for Josh now?
Can't believe Igbinoghene went in the 1st. I like him a lot but dude is raaaaaaw. Miami doesn't have luxury picks right now. I thought we could look at him in the 3rd or 4th.
I get it to an extent and can understand the "draft disappointment" label but he's definitely not anywhere near Trent Richardson. He's still got a future in the league. And he's coming off his best season, 2018 could have been the outlier. It would be a different story completely if he put up those numbers last year, but he put it all together a bit last year and is still only 25. I'd take a shot on him.
He's coming off an 1100 yard season?
I don't really get the hate. I like Edwards-Helaire better, but there's certainly no guarantee that you're going to find a RB in the 4th-7th that's going to rush for 1,000 twice in his first three seasons...
Edit - 1100 yards rushing, and it was actually 1152. Guy put up 1674 total yards last year! What a bum.
They uh, gonna practice or get together at all before the first game?
Sucks for Von, though, I've always been a fan. He's got asthma, altitude, and a love for God's greatest herb which all could impact him a bit.
Top 3 easy, with potential to be number 1. Saw that some found a top-3 designation questionable and I'm very curious who has been as consistently good as Tre the past few years? Gilmore definitely, but beyond that it's tough. It surely isn't Ramsey at this point. I guess an argument could be made for Marcus Peters? The more I think about it, outside of Gilmore and Tre the top CBs have been a rotating cast these past few years so I'm kind of surprised this is even a debate.
