  1. Maybe the 3 takes into account our backups have started played one game between the last 3 years.
  2. he hasn't worked many Sundays in the past two years
  3. I was so giddy when we signed him. I thought he was on his way to producing Gronk numbers when at Miami. What a disappointment.
  4. The play was also a quick completion to the opposite side of the field. No excuse for it.
  5. Why have we gone so many years without a productive receiving back? It seems every good team in the league has one or two. Shady is a good receiving back, but it's unwise to have him as your only weapon...and he's getting old. I say we get a couple, they're cheap. It will help both Josh and our receivers.
  6. Has Kyle ever expressed an interest in coaching - who wouldn't want to play for this guy?
  7. Who gives a rat's behind about some Twitter feed. If you liked what you saw on Sunday, enjoy it. Don't let some hack looking for clicks on Monday kill your buzz!
  8. Agree. Allen did miss receivers in week 2. He was half-decent, at times he looked exactly like it was his first start. That's why I loved this week, improved poise, touch, accuracy. Most of his incompletions were dropped or contested balls. His dumbest play was an AWESOME hurdle for a first down.
  9. I remember that one...if memory serves me 13-0? Greg Bell had 200+ yards?
  10. I have a real hard time with rooting for losses at any time in the season. Getting multiple years of Top 5 picks is no guarantee of success - it is more a sign that you will have multiple years of staying in the basement (see Cleveland Browns and Philly 76ers). It's better to build a culture of winning, rather than make a habit of losing. Making the current players on the roster into valued professionals is a higher payoff than tanking for a high draft pick.
  11. Thanks for the positive thread. Be happy that 1) the QB play was much better this week, and 2) 17 played his best game yet vs. a starting NFL defense. Sure he missed some throws that any NFL QB should make -- but it's really his first shot preparing for and starting an NFL game.
  12. I'll take any two of these to come true and consider it a banner year.
  13. I totally agree. I always read the last chapter of a book first and I wish movie trailers would reveal the ending. Makes me feel better knowing the outcome well in advance...why put us through all this!
  14. I had exact same - I was convinced Poz would be a Bill for 10 years. Now I refuse to buy anything but throwbacks
