  1. A few updates: One poster has included three former or current Bills coaches he wants for DC: https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showpost.php?p=13962848&postcount=71 Then another replied: https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showpost.php?p=13962934&postcount=73
  2. After last night's 14-point blown lead, they want their DC Bob Sutton fired, and some are calling for them to go after Sean McDermott as their new DC. https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?p=13962251#post13962251 [Note: you have to register first to be able to see their forum.] https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showpost.php?p=13962228&postcount=5 https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showpost.php?p=13962251&postcount=17
  3. Uh, no: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2019-super-bowl-odds-simulations-say-title-likely-coming-down-to-saints-rams-patriots-and-chiefs/ "2019 Super Bowl odds: Simulations say title likely coming down to Saints, Rams, Patriots and Chiefs"
  4. ???? It is common strategy to go for two in that situation if on the road. At home, you go for one.The Bills would have done the same thing.
  5. And their small size was a liability to us in the 90's SB's. The bigger OLs of the NFC teams was one of the primary reasons we lost, especially to Dallas. They were steamrolled back in the 90's in the Super Bowls.
  6. Like the Jeffersons, we are moving on up!! Best scenario for the next three weeks: put in strong efforts like the last two weeks to build a winning tradition with Josh Allen, but lose the games to get a higher draft pick. https://www.cincyjungle.com/2018/12/10/18134925/2019-nfl-draft-order-bengals-outside-top-10-49ers-jets-falcons-raiders 1. San Francisco 3-10 2. Arizona 3-10 3. Oakland 3-10 4. Atlanta 4-9 5. New York Jets 4-9 6. Buffalo 4-9 7. Jacksonville 4-9 8. Tampa Bay 5-8 9. New York Giants 5-8 10. Detroit 5-8 11. Cincinnati 5-8 12. Green Bay 5-7-1 13. Cleveland 5-7-1 14. Washington 6-7 15. Carolina 6-7 16. Philadelphia 6-7 17. Denver 6-7 18. Miami 7-6 19. Indianapolis 7-6 20. Tennessee 7-6
  7. But didn't the NFL shorten the OT to lessen the risk for player injuries?
  8. Can anyone tell me why the Dolphins did not have to kick the PAT in their 34-33 walk-off TD win vs. New England?? When Buffalo was down 24-20 at the Dolphins in 1989 and Jim Kelly won the game with a walk-off TD with no time on the clock, the officials forced the teams to return to the field and do the PAT play: https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/sports/1989/09/11/bills-kelly-scores-at-gun-tops-dolphins/780a815b-a0fd-489e-a33a-87797898b45e/?utm_term=.a8c35355ecc1 EDIT: Never mind. I just learned the rule was changed this off-season where a PAT did not have to occur if a TD was scored on the last play of the game and would be meaningless.
  9. I agree with you that the defense is at a distinct disadvantage in OT. But why would a team ever defer if they won the coin toss for OT? There is only one OT period guaranteed, so you would never get to use that deferral unless it went to the third OT in the playoffs.
  10. If you don't have ties, you have to have a new category for "Overtime Losses" like they do in the NHL. Do you want that?
  11. It was. I just watched it: https://www.chiefs.com/video/can-t-miss-play-patrick-mahomes-no-look-pass Anybody could have done the same pass.
  12. Why shouldn't Philadelphia have had a chance on offense in OT?
  13. I am tired of all this talk about the Dolphins miracle win over New England. So what? The Bills should've beaten Miami last week, and were playing on the road. Why aren't people talking about that and Josh Allen's pass to Clay in the endzone?
  14. If this "news" is indeed true, why is there nothing on the Bills website??
  15. Whales, giraffes, hippos, big cats, and rhinos can’t jump either.
  16. I was bored and I decided to search YouTube for Josh Allen videos to get inspired. I found this one, released just hours ago, the analyzes Allen's footwork that needs to be corrected before he can make the leap to the next level. The video also points out he has made progess under Daboll. I hope the coaches see this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rQ67QmlGJI To summarize, the problem is Allen is not pointing his lead foot the right way to make an accurate throw. This is the first thing they taght me when I learned to throw years ago. [Mod note merging this in because both the YouTube vid and Athletic article are Cover 1/Erik Turner analysis]
  17. What does MacKenzie Phillips have to do with this thread? Pot. Kettle. Black.
  18. In all honesty, I agree with you. It will happen, but as you said, it will be a bad move most likely. LOL, you're right! Forgot about that. Duh!!
  19. Ok, thanks. Yeah, I meant no team has traded a 1st for an exisitng NFL WR since Atlanta did in 2003.
