  1. If you have reservations about the areas around Selhurst Park being a shithole then you'll be in for a right treat in Luton 😁 The fixtures for my soccer team don't get released until early July but I'm hoping they're away to a team in the London area the day before the Bills/Jags game. I bagged some tickets for the Bills game last night. Plenty of tickets becoming available on the secondary markets from those who renewed London games season tickets but aren't using them for a certain game. I paid face value for 2 adult and 2 child tickets .
  2. Nope. My team has never played them while I've been alive! It's certainly regarded as one of the older school grounds. I reckon it would be a good experience.
  3. Yes, I suspect so. Also worth keeping an eye on those teams (like Brighton) who are playing in European competition next season. Their games tend to get moved to the Sunday if they've played in Europe on the Thursday. The likes of Fulham and Palace won't have that problem.
  4. Might even make that the Saturday dinnertime or evening game.
  5. Here are your Premier League fixtures for the weekend 6/7/8 October https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/scores-fixtures/2023-10 I reckon Arsenal v Man City will get moved to be on tele. Fulham v Sheff Utd & Palace v Forest will be your best bets for a game in the capital.
  6. That one will be for Gunner. I think it'll differ from team to team.
  7. One more for the day. Originally released by the band Somerville fronted, Bronski Beat. I found this version and couldn't not share.
  8. Just a stunning song.
  9. Thursday 22nd June, 9am UK time.
  10. For those who are hoping to take in a Premier League soccer game while over in the UK, the fixtures (schedule) are released tomorrow morning. However, please be aware fixtures on that weekend may be subject to change due to TV scheduling. I'm not sure how far in advance they confirm the TV games @GunnerBill may know more about that.
  11. One thing's for sure, it's none of the teams that are yet to win a Lombardi. Last thing we need is the Bills getting a step closer to being the ONLY team to never win one.
  12. I'm not that chuffed but seeing as though there's a gun to my head I'll say Chicago. Only on the basis I visited Chicago in 2005 and found it to be a most wonderful city.
  13. Even seeing Coldplay perform at a charity event makes me want to do something daft like support the Miami Dolphins.
  14. There's Shell too. That might still be proving your point but there is another body there.
  15. I enjoyed Guardians 3 too. And I concur with your assessment about the post-Endgame films. It's been a bit of a struggle to stay motivated to continue with the franchise. As such, we're yet to watch Ant-Man 3 and even Wakanda Forever. Also, way behind with anything on Disney +. We stopped watching Loki two episodes in and haven't watched any of the series being served up since. Are any worth watching? Secret Invasion looks more up our street from the trailer.
  16. One more for the day. I've a funeral to go to. This band are from my city and I think is one of their better songs.
  17. Not one of my favourite bands but certainly one of my favourite songs. Reminds me of the summer of 2012 and the London Olympics and my son being a beautiful baby 🙂
  18. I'm not a fan of Fleetwood Mac. Too middle of the road for me but my parents went to see them at Madison Square Garden a few years ago before my father got really ill.
  19. Never fails to amaze me how adult humans get so emotional over a picture on a computer game box.
  20. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-london-games-tickets-everything-you-need-to-know Further ticket sale details.
  21. I was hoping to see this season's first "I'm Out" post in this thread. Very disappointing. I'll wait for the Davis extension thread.
  22. Shaw, I'll start with tickets. The dates for the general ticket sale haven't been announced yet. All we know is it'll be in June. I suspect when that is announced wo will details of ticket sales to Bills season ticket holders. As Creek states, getting around London is so easy and getting to Tottenham stadium is no exception. We've used two options in the past. 1, the Underground (Tube) from Kings Cross to Seven Sisters. Take the Victoria Line for 8 minutes. Then it's a 20 minute straight walk to Tottenham Stadium. 2, The London Overground from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane. Many Underground lines (head east) serve Kings Cross to Liverpool Street (8 minutes). Once at Liverpool St, head to the main train concourse and get the London Overground to White Hart Lane. This takes 20 minutes but White Hart Lane station is right next to Tottenham Stadium. There are many apps you can use to plan your way around London. "Tube Map" is the one I use. You can also use both routes in reverse to return back to central London. This link has info on all you need to know about the stadium - https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/premier-league/tottenham-hotspur-stadium.html Hotels. It depends what you want from hotel. When in London all we ever need is somewhere safe to store our bags and somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep. Only ever use the room to sleep. We also use Kings Cross to get into and return from London as all trains heading north east go to and return from there. We've booked a Premier Inn (https://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/home.html) at Euston which is a 10 minute walk to King Cross. There are also Travelodge hotels (https://www.travelodge.co.uk/) which provide a simple but effective stay. If you're wanting a bit more from a hotel then Trip Adviser will be your friend. I hope I've been of some help.
  23. They have a nice chippy in Wetwang.
  24. Yes, the regular tickets being on there already is baffling. Someone will know the reason for sure.
