Not one of my favourite bands but certainly one of my favourite songs. Reminds me of the summer of 2012 and the London Olympics and my son being a beautiful baby 🙂

I'm not a fan of Fleetwood Mac. Too middle of the road for me but my parents went to see them at Madison Square Garden a few years ago before my father got really ill.

I was hoping to see this season's first "I'm Out" post in this thread. Very disappointing. I'll wait for the Davis extension thread.

Shaw, I'll start with tickets. The dates for the general ticket sale haven't been announced yet. All we know is it'll be in June. I suspect when that is announced wo will details of ticket sales to Bills season ticket holders. As Creek states, getting around London is so easy and getting to Tottenham stadium is no exception. We've used two options in the past. 1, the Underground (Tube) from Kings Cross to Seven Sisters. Take the Victoria Line for 8 minutes. Then it's a 20 minute straight walk to Tottenham Stadium. 2, The London Overground from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane. Many Underground lines (head east) serve Kings Cross to Liverpool Street (8 minutes). Once at Liverpool St, head to the main train concourse and get the London Overground to White Hart Lane. This takes 20 minutes but White Hart Lane station is right next to Tottenham Stadium. There are many apps you can use to plan your way around London. "Tube Map" is the one I use. You can also use both routes in reverse to return back to central London. This link has info on all you need to know about the stadium - https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/premier-league/tottenham-hotspur-stadium.html Hotels. It depends what you want from hotel. When in London all we ever need is somewhere safe to store our bags and somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep. Only ever use the room to sleep. We also use Kings Cross to get into and return from London as all trains heading north east go to and return from there. We've booked a Premier Inn (https://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/home.html) at Euston which is a 10 minute walk to King Cross. There are also Travelodge hotels (https://www.travelodge.co.uk/) which provide a simple but effective stay. If you're wanting a bit more from a hotel then Trip Adviser will be your friend. I hope I've been of some help.

They have a nice chippy in Wetwang.

Yes, the regular tickets being on there already is baffling. Someone will know the reason for sure.

Some will be from the "Premium" ticket sales last week. Others, I don't know. Especially the seats high in the stands. Possibly London games season ticket holders putting them on before they renew. If that's still a thing that is.

Such a tough choice 😃 I had the "Mega" breakfast in The Rocket before a game at Wembley last year and I struggled to walk to the tube station after. It was immense.

You're also getting a small glimpse of the cultural differences between the north and south of England at that time. The vibrant successful south versus the "grim up" north. Albarn's upbringing was very much more "arty" which you can see comes out in his music. The Gallaghers had a much more raw musical education. Noel is dyslexic which limited his music writing abilities which I think is why Oasis' range isn't that of Blur. If i was given a tickets to an Oasis gig and Blur gig to occur at exactly the same date and time I'd choose Oasis. It would be cheaper to get to I suspect 😊

We've just booked a hotel near Euston Station so will be in London for the weekend. We'll be having breakfast in The Rocket pub at Euston on the Sunday morning before heading to the stadium. Anyone on here is welcome to join us if you're in that area at that time. https://www.therocketeustonroad.co.uk/

Blur didn't take themselves as seriously as Oasis did. I think I'll go with..... And then.....

I'm getting this message in Game Pass - "NFL Game Pass International will have a new home for the 2023 season. If you are looking to subscribe for the 2023 season, please check back here, or look out for an email from us soon for further details. If you are currently a subscriber and are looking to watch NFL Draft April 27 to April 29, the live stream can be accessed via the Game Pass International homepage during that time. If you are not a subscriber currently and are looking to watch NFL Draft, please see the table here for local listings by country." I think there could be changes a foot.

I remember it well. Obviously I was in the Oasis camp but I do like Blur as well and have grown to appreciate them more the older I've got! I remember buying the Parklife album from a store in town after the soccer game I was going to was postponed so I had some spare cash. End of the Century is probably my favourite track on that album. After that I like Country House, Charmless Man & The Universal all from The Great Escape. The early to mid-90s were just fantastic all round. I'm so glad they were my growing up years.

Wrexham sells naming rights to the Racecourse
BritBill replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall
Those Wrexham fans haven't had it this good since they supported Liverpool in 2020. -
No further questions, Your Honour 😆

Leyton Orient are another London club. They've just been promoted to League One. The stadium is in the E10 area of London. E10 is also the home of the famous Hackney Marshes which playing fields holds 88 full sized soccer fields used by amateur teams and leagues from all over London. Stevenage is a boring commuter town outside London. Don't ever go there.
-
I said "A" game. Might be Leyton Orient v Stevenage 😜

Anybody in the position where they just want to have tickets in hand quickly and don't mind paying very over the odds there are plenty on StubHub https://www.stubhub.co.uk/nfl-london-2023-jacksonville-jaguars-vs-buffalo-bills-tickets-tottenham-hotspur-stadium-8-10-2023/event/105905006/ Could well work out that paying an extortionate amount for tickets might offset increased cost of travel if you book that later?

74 seconds of JA to help get you through the day
BritBill replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
NFL UK posted a photo of Allen this morning and I thought he looked like he was a few pounds lighter. -
The Jets have just re-turfed their pitch which is good for Araiza as he likes playing on fields with no grass.
-
I think most people did. I was around 7,000th in the queue and when I was allowed into the site to buy all the cheapest options had sold out. Almost unremarkably, I received an email from StubHub about 30 minutes later telling me tickets were on sale for the game.
