  1. I agree. Season ticket holders should always get first dibs.
  2. I sure will check it out. If we go to London for the game a day early we're planning on going to visit a few of the London stadiums so will add Highbury to the list if we do. I suppose a lot will depend on what the expected structural damage after demolition of most of the stadium as to whether what could be left to be used as part of future building? My soccer team have moved to a new stadium the couple of years and they've only been allowed to keep a small part of the terrace of the old stadium which will be incorporated into gardens where new housing is being built on the site.
  3. Gunner will definitely be your man on this one. I sadly never even got to Highbury while it was standing.
  4. I must say, I didn't particularly notice anything too bad about Niagara Falls when we went. However, I do remember each person/group catching the bus got progressively higher the further away we got from Buffalo and closer to Niagara Falls. Pleasant enough bus ride out of the city and back though.
  5. General ticket sale is in June.
  6. Probably rules me out as I'll be taking my son as well.
  7. I'm going to go in and see what the prices are like first. As a Yorkshireman I'm on a tight budget as well 😁
  8. Some Premium Packages go on sale today at 12:00 UK time (07:00 ET). https://ticketmastersportuk.queue-it.net/softblock/?c=ticketmastersportuk&e=nfltottenham11&t=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eticketing.co.uk%2Fnfl-tottenham%2Fhospitality%2Flandingpage&cid=en-GB&rticr=0
  9. I hadn’t seen Local Hero until last Christmas. Was a great film.
  10. That's great but it's no 2014 Poland
  11. And they can make a 10 days/fortnight of it too this year.
  12. Yes, I suspect you're right considering the Jags following the NFL has drummed up over here over the years. I'm a bit surprised Bills season ticket holders don't get first dibs at the tickets. It would have meant a lot more tickets being available but Spurs is an excellent venue.
  13. It works fine for me. Try https://www.buffalobills.com/schedule/ and then click on "Ticket Information" next to the Jaguars game details.
  14. I think I've been to Bruges but that was on a soccer tour back in the early/mid 90s. We did a few cities in Belgium but can't be sure or confess to knowing much about either city. I know it has 2 professional top flight soccer teams (Cercle & Club) 👍 My sister has been to Bruges a couple of times and enjoys it.
  15. It was not an offer. That's what I'll say in court anyway. https://shp.csharmony.epsilon.com/pages/NFL_US/2023_London_ROI/?ck= You'll have to watch In Bruges before you head there 🙂
  16. Yes without a doubt. I was 14 years old when they released Definitely Maybe. A bit too young to be "in moment" influenced by the likes of The Stone Roses releasing their first album "The Stone Roses" so Oasis and Definitely Maybe became the first album which appealed to me in that moment of my youth when I was starting to really take an interest in music and youth culture. Coming from the north of England and also sharing a forename with Liam made Oasis appealing outside of their music. My life for the next 15 years or so mainly consisted of going to watch soccer and going down to the record shop to buy albums (on CD back then!). Once I turned 18 regular trips to the pub were integrated. I was always the first to a jukebox. The video of them playing Lyla in Manchester in 2005 was one of 2 consecutive gigs they played over 2 nights. I was at one of them. Whether I was at the gig in the video I can't confirm or if I was at the other night's gig. I remember they'd just released Don't Believe The Truth and Turn Up The Sun was the first song they performed before following it with Lyla to get the whole stadium bouncing. If they ever get back together I'll pay whatever I have to. Also, my 12 year old son is also bang into them. So whenever we travel to soccer matches in the car he's always asking for Oasis on.
  17. I lost a friend to cancer today. This is a song we used to drink, dance and sing along to years ago.
  18. Hope you’ve made enough time for a few tiddlies and a ruby?
  19. Fly? I've heard Goodell is going to make them row.
  20. 2:30pm kick off has been confirmed.
  21. We're pushing back though, believe me.
  22. That or he/she meant "miners" and that makes it a different ball game.
  23. All the airports have great transport links into central London. Especially Heathrow. The area which the stadium is in itself probably isn't the best for staying in. You'll be fine anywhere more central. You can get a London Overground train from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane station (very close to Spurs stadium) and back. So if you're wanting an easy journey from the stadium to your hotel after the game then hotels around Liverpool St would suit.
  24. That only happens when we're drunk 🙂
  25. Now the date is confirmed, if anyone needs any help with anything about this side of the pond please feel free to ask 👍
