  1. No way he's getting one of those straps around his chin.
  2. Not necessarily. The teams have the option to have one after an International game.
  3. The NFL. https://www.nfl.com/uk/
  4. Jaguars v Bills, Sunday 8 October, Tottenham Hotspur.
  5. Bills play Jags on 8 October in London.
  6. When I did London to Paris by train a few years ago it worked out cheaper to get the Eurostar from London to Lille then another train to Paris. Added about an hour to the journey but I got to see a bit of Lille as well. The train station in Lille is very central to the centre.
  7. At least the Bills are the most successful team in their own city.
  8. Excellent! My mate and his son who we go to games with are Cowboys fans and were hoping it'd be them we play. I can't wait until October now. Last season drained me a little and a small part of me was relieved it was over. Having the Bills in London was a timely boost.
  9. Where did you book to stay? We'll be coming down for the day unless my soccer team ends up playing in or around London on the Saturday. I suspect tickets will go on sale fairly sharpish. Last year, for some reason, I got sent a pre-sale link for the Jaguars game so got them. I can't see that happening for the Bills or Titans home games at Spurs. I reckon when they send an email confirming the games tomorrow they'll be further details about tickets.
  10. Will know for sure this time tomorrow 👍
  11. Yeah, it looked a nightmare to get tickets for that last year with it being Packers first time over. The games at Spurs are a tough get in comparison to Wembley due to the lower capacity as well. There's always a way in though. Even if you don't get a ticket in the initial sale. A few years ago we picked the Tampa v Carolina game as the one we wanted to that season and didn't get tickets in the initial sale. However, more came available later down the line due to returns of tickets offered to fans in mainland Europe that went unsold. I've just followed an account on Twitter called @nfuk_tickets which helps people needing tickets get them. Let me know how you get on in the initial sale. If you're unsuccessful I'll do what I can to find you a ticket. Chances are we'll be in the same boat!
  12. Hey NI, If you've done the pre-registering via the NFLUK/Ticketmaster channels I suspect you'll be getting an email with details of dates prices of ticket sales very soon. I'm hoping something in the next few days as details of the international games tends to be officially known before the general NFL schedule release which looks set for 11 may.
  13. If Josh Allen starts staring into a television which is only showing white scramble we're in bother.
  14. When we go to London our train arrives at King Cross (joined onto St Pancras) and we tend to stay in hotels not far from there. Gunner is probably better placed to advise on places to stay with him being from down there but the transport in London is so extensive and easy you really can't go wrong in terms of location.
  15. Definitely have a good walk if you can. If you get lost, just search on your phone for the nearest tube station. You'll lever be far from one. Some excellent self-guided walks can be found here - https://www.londonforfree.net/
  16. I don't think it's quite finished yet. Delayed by the Covid. Ready for the start of next season by all accounts.
  17. When Winterburn ***** himself 🤣 Villa park was the first "other" ground I went to. Was about 1990/91. We'd played a game in Walsall and then went to Villa v Sheff Wed after. It finished 1-1. We were in the Trinity Road but at the Holte End side. I found the Holte End breath taking at the time. Went back late 2000s to watch England v Holland. Terrible game but still found Villa Park beautiful.
  18. Villa Park and Hillsborough for me.
  19. Only time I’ve been to Brighton it was the Goldstone. 11am kick off on a Thursday morning. The first game had been abandoned following on pitch protests by the Brighton fans. I was still at school so probably 1995/96 time.
  20. I use this website when planning visits to grounds other than my team’s https://footballgroundguide.com/
  21. There could even be Champions League games on that Wednesday? You'd have to get lucky as it looks like Arsenal will be London's sole representative next season. Brighton ain't London but doable. Millwall yes. Luton isn't too far away. Crystal Palace is another.
  22. IF true there should be Premier League & Championship soccer matches between those dates. You'll probably have to wait until next month to know for certain.
  23. Teams played in London last season and didn't have a bye week the week after. It's not an automatic given.
  24. They played one game there a few years back but non since. I've never been (not a rugby fan) but the feedback seemed to be the seating was a bit cramped for space and the transport might not be as good to and from (though I may be wrong on that). It's an older stadium. Especially compared to Wembley and Tottenham. One of the other Brit guys on here who live further south than I might be able to give you more information on it.
