I think Cook is flashier has more talent and the higher ceiling, but this guy has that next gear necessary to be really good and seems like a very steady force, and I just would not discount the kind of drive a guy coming up from the kind of background like he has could have.
-
Yeah like half way through it and there's like maybe 3 that got to his hands so far and still 1 of them you'd like him to catch but was clearly behind him in an awkward position.
-
Yeah looking back at their teammates like:

There's got to be some frustration from how his college season ended. Team manages to on an incredible run only to lose their starting QB with a couple games left, they still pull off a perfect regular season record but have to go against Georgia with the backup QB. But here's the real kicker despite being undefeated your team doesn't get invited to the college football playoff, so essentially a bunch of the likely high picks on the team don't play and FSU gets stomped at the end of their undefeated season.

Goofy ass sense of humor, plays golf, has a throw it up and I'll come down with it mentality/style of play, yeah this is 100% Josh's guy.
-
People keep misunderstanding things, for a long ass time the Bills sucked at running the ball so McDermott would obviously hammer the point that they needed to be better at it, so for whatever reason people now think that's what he wants to just run the ball. That's not it at all, he want's to be able to run the ball because that's important, would he want to control the clock of course who the ***** wouldn't. Having a team that can control more of the game is better that's obvious. That in no way precludes or eliminates passing the ball, McDermott wants his offense to score because of course he ***** does.

Rd 5, Pick 141: C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger

You know who else has short arms? Coincidence I think not. Didn't the Kelce retire this offseason, where the hell were the Eagles on a Georgia Center? -
Traded back out of the 1st round, but looks like we still had someone walk the stage after all, just took until the 7th round of the draft.
-
Yep there were big shifts in several rooms on the team with Diggs, Hyde and Poyer as well as White to an extent, and Mitch. Some free agents were brought in and some young guys were drafted, it's reasonable to expect it to need to gel some in the season. Still expect them to compete but also are in excellent position to get better next year which is smart. They had to rip the band aide off and get younger in those rooms.

Kelvin "I don't want to warm up with you rookie QB" Benjamin? Andre Holmes....really? Robert Foster UFDFA, John Brown 5'10, Lil Dirty have you seen the mannequin, Sanders 5'11 and like 33/34 years old. How were any these guys high talent big bodied WRs? Hell the closest one was Robert Foster because he was 6'2 but he was an UDFA that's never caught on anywhere, though the highlight of his entire career was catching passes from Josh ***** Allen. I'm surprised you didn't bring up Bills legend Duke Williams he'd at least be the right type of WR if still a guy brought in from the CFL.
-
I'd love to know who the high talent big body guys they've put on this team with Josh Allen we have to make this assessment that he doesn't do well with them are. From my memory Josh Allen does well with short shifty WRs because Josh Allen has short shifty WRs.

Live 2024 NFL Draft thread - Rounds 4-7 (Do NOT tip the Bills pick)
Warcodered replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
KC traded up with us who weren't taking him to get ahead of the Chargers who took a WR that was completely different from him. So unless someone else was going to jump them they could have stayed put. Bills got picks to let KC take a guy they were most likely going to get anyway. You can agree or disagree with their assessment but they let the Panthers take Leggette so they could take Coleman in the 2nd getting better draft position and an easier cap situation. -

Implying that this would even be possible, not to mention ignoring the other picks that it eliminates. -
Brandon Beane taking the late round pick that comes with extra perks.
