  1. I hope he's not wasting his time on here! Seems like there's other stuff to be worried about than what we think. Obviously we don't know chit about football.....
  2. The Subaru Baja was a 4 door brat they made from 2003-2006 and I loved those little things. Always wanted one.
  3. So does Jimmy actually change his name to Saul so that he can take the bar under a different name and practice law? He was flipping out that he had to wait a year and we know that's not happening.
  4. I always thought week 9 after we lost to the Patriots would be the perfect time to start Allen, they played him earlier and hopefully he is gaining a ton of experience that will accelerate his learning curve. At least he knows not to throw from the sideline back to the middle of the endzone. So progress
  5. they don't make those anymore. That's more of a hybrid IDK what those are, they've got a bed...so kind of a truck. but they're low to the ground, and it's a unibody. and they're 2 door. It's more of an abomination than anything.
  6. Ehh it's got a bed it's a truck But then again I consider an Avalanche a truck too.
  7. Expectations were 7-9, pretty much a rebuilding year with a bad oline and no wrs. I expected us to be 0-4 right now to be honest. But not to be flat out blown out like we were in Baltimore and LA. Losses yes, humiliating losses, not so much. I expected us to be using McCoy more.
  8. Has the OP considered the Mitsubishi Raider? It's like a Dakota, but uglier in every sense of the word.
  9. I've owned two lol, both were solid trucks, one was a 1999 4x4, the other was a 2001 2wd Lariat with the 5.4. I bought that truck for 3400 dollars, sanded it with an electric sander, took it to Maco for their $399 paint job special, painted it black, and sold it for $4500. Wasn't a bad truck I'm just not a fan of suicide doors and both my F150s had em.
  10. Two of them left to go to another company about 60 miles away and all I could think was "how are they going to handle a new company that expects them to actually work", then the other part of me went "why would you leave a job where you got paid to literally do nothing"?
  11. some people at work have learned that if they do this whenever someone asks them to work, they can successfully avoid doing anything. Kind of brilliant really.
  12. I've had full size GM products my entire adult life and we never had any significant repairs done to them. We had a GMC Yukon from 2005-2014, put 165k miles on it and when we sold it I think we had put 3 sets of tires on it and replaced $156 dollars worth of AC parts one time. Best vehicle I ever owned. I've had v6 and v8 silverados and both ran like tops well into 160k+ miles. I don't have anything bad to say about Toyotas, my wife currently has a Venza but to say that full size GM trucks are problematic isn't accurate based on my experiences.
  13. I'm gonna wait and see what they do with all that cap space and with 10 draft picks.
  14. The weather turned just a hair, this morning it was only 73 when I got in my truck. High still 90, hell my pool is still 86 degrees we spent Sunday in it watching the travesty that was the Bills game. I wish it would get cooler, but still 90 days away from that. The license plates are changing colors though like they always do in the fall in Florida.
  15. I also plan on pulling a boat with it, so i like the size for that too. I'd upgrade to an F250 Diesel if I could but I don't have that kind of cash.
  16. My buddie's 4x4 silverado with the V8 gets around 21mpg average. My Ram 1500 with the Hemi gets right around 19 and can get up to 21 if I keep my foot out of it. I imagine the Colorado/Taco will get better, but significantly better I doubt it. 2-3 mpg isn't worth it to me I like the V8, I like the torque and ability to move when I want to move. I also like the room a full size gives me.
  17. Actually the Ridgeline is now a real truck it's not a unibody anymore. It has a bed.
  18. Get the Tacoma. You can drive it for 3 years then sell it for what you paid for it. Nothing holds its value in the automotive world like a Tacoma. I've got a buddy with a colorado, was having intermittent issues with what they thought were fuel additives (he added none) turns out his torque converter went bad. Under warranty so no big deal, but I'd go with the Taco because they never seem to have issues, and I believe the oil filter is mounted up top by the radiator, easy access.
  19. Seriously give me two please and a shot of Rye
  20. I've got news for Allen, he's going to make those mistakes again. Aaron Rodgers telegraphed a pass to Ryan Lewis that should have been a pick 6 if the guy could catch a cold. Mistakes happen. He needs to learn to throw 3tds and 275yds a game in order to offset the mistakes.
  21. Is he sure? Because on Sundays the offense tends to be invisible.
  22. It's pretty evident we can't win with the lack of talent on this roster. I'm going t wait and see what he and Beane do this offseason. If they get linemen and wrs, improve the defense and get rid of Peterman in favor of an actual QB at backup them I'm still trusting the process. But the process better start protecting the QB better and catching the ball.
