You never know if they might need to move up two spots in the 2nd round next year with that 5th right? I would rather keep him this year instead... they get another year out of him at the very least, and possibly even a comp pick if they lose him

Oliver and Ford are two great picks... I’ve got a feeling that these two are going to be contributors for years to come.. Now I have had a day or two to digest the rest of the draft, I am considering the the rest as gravy.. not totally sold on picks 3 and 4...and has been mentioned they seem the kinds of prospects that you can find in any year in Round 4 or later.. I like Joseph as a prospect and wouldn’t be surprised if he turns into the third best player of the 2019 draft..

I think they go with these nine as well.. I can’t predict the starters at this stage but I hope it is settled relatively early in camp so the starting line up gets plenty of practice time together.. Compared to this time last year I am so confident with how the OL is shaping up - Beane has been so thorough over these past 2 months putting this line up together., Only gnawing little voice in the back of my mind is Spain- why did they get him so cheap??

I meant keeping your argument going in terms of continuing this after the draft.. No “victory lap” from me...yet.. I really want this to turn into an epic thread for 2019 where Zay kills it... The reality will probably be somewhere in between.. he will remain on the team in 2019 but put up modest numbers..

Look.. this 2019 draft is certainly not special like the 2016 Doug Whaley /Rex draft with 3 starters off the bus in Lawson, Rags and Washington, but if Beane can do a deep day 3 dive and come up with another Kolby Listenbee then we might be able to salvage something..

He will have all day to throw behind his new OL .. he will be fine..

Yeah I am aware of that hence why I mentioned pick 147... Got a feeling he might be still there..This is a very deep WR draft..

So he is the next pick? I said not in the top 150, but 147 is close enough..

What value has he got? Whoever trades for him will need to pay him $6M this season..

Like it and before the draft started would have been happy with even trading up a little higher to acquire him with the second pick

My Day 2 picks I think Metcalf gets taken before the Bills pick...(can’t see Cards, 49ers and Raiders all passing..) I think Risner should still be there at 40 and he ticks all the “process” boxes.. so leaning that way at the moment.. I think the third pick might be Sternberger... He may require a move up into the 60’s though..

The Jets next pick is 68... good luck trading up from there into the Top 10

They will stay at 40 because I don’t really see a team ahead of them that will want to trade down.. Seattle already has enough 4th round picks..

I still think the Bills can pick 4 more quality guys in Rounds 2-4..

Let the draft come to them... they will get a good pick at 40.. Use some of Day 3 fodder to trade up with their third pick ..
