  1. Cynthia saying it makes sense for the Bills to trade up for 2 to get Quinnen Williams.. I dont agree.. keep next years first... The 49ers might not agree... not enough compensation... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001027393/article/2019-nfl-draft-efficient-day-1-trades-3-qb-situations-to-watch
  2. Havent really thought about it much since to be honest.. If they use the pick and get someone like Milano I will be happy... If they use it to acquire someone like Kolby Listenbee I will be pretty meh...
  3. Im interested in why some people feel the need now " to secure the LB position for years to come"...? Aren't there good LB prospects available every year?
  4. Cant say Im an expert on KC salary cap situation but just had a look at spotrac... Its tight but they could squeeze him in with maybe a $12Mil hit in 2019 and then about a $23 Mil hit in 2020 and another similar in 2021... They would also be left with another 2nd and 3rd pick so they would still have a pretty normal draft with Clark as their Round 1... They are in their rookie window with Mahomes so might be time to go all in...
  5. Peter King in his mock saying that KC will give up a 1st and 2nd for him... (Picks 29 and 63..) Yikes! Too rich for my blood... https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/04/22/nfl-mock-draft-fmia-peter-king/
  6. I would like to see them spend one of those mid to late Day 3 picks on an LB that can be developed for 2020 and beyond.. 3 guys I think have some upside are Bobby Okereke, David Long Jr and Gary Johnson
  7. Too slow... you could time his 40 with a sun dial..
  8. Ok... I see what you are saying.. They will save on his salary in 2020 so indeed it’s possible they could move on at the end of 2019... Lets see if someone emerges this year from the draft or elsewhere to unseat him.
  9. Wow... Lots of anonymous bagging out going on.. So let’s draft Oliver, Fant and Metcalf..
  10. Wilkins to me seems a “safe”’pick and from what I see from Beane he prefers to swing for the fences rather than play it safe.. Also, can I suggest if you look closely at Star’s contract he is here for another two years... Doesn’t make sense to me to cut him after this season for $8M dead money to save $2M... could you honestly say he could be replaced for $2M?
  11. Right... getting a new running back will be all that’s needed to turn around a 4-12 team., They can still draft one next week you know.. they have like 10 picks..
  12. Frank Clark traded to Bills and wins NFL Man of the Year..
  13. Seattle want a first but of course they would.. As others have said, he seems to have been on the trading block a while yet there he still is waiting in the wings.. Maybe 40 gets it done .. Maybe offer Hughes and a 2020 third.. They won’t be paying both Clark and Hughes in 2020..
  14. In 2015 they didn’t have a first round pick and in 2016 their first pick was 19... I think this draft has much more interesting possibilities..
  15. He is not an easy trade as he is due to be paid $13 Mil in 2019 which a lot of teams can’t afford at this stage of the season or don’t think he is worth that.. Supposedly Arians has told him not too show up to OTA’s so it looks like they are moving on.. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if a 5th gets it done if Beane doesn’t mind ponying up the cash..
  16. Id rather keep 9 and give up the 2nd.. Still have the option of an elite prospect falling to 9, or trading down and getting the 2nd back..
  17. Oliver has been a big name in this draft for a while now... Metcalf has been more of the combine warrior/ late riser comparatively IMO.. Not saying you are wrong though about who ultimately turns out to be the better player..
  18. Great article that wouldn’t have come across my radar otherwise.. Thanks for posting..
  19. If Oliver is gone then I’m ok if they swing for the fences on Metcalf..would prefer it if they could get him after a small trade down as I think he will be there into the mid teens.. Ive had my eye on Howard and Saunders as well.. maybe you are picking them a round early though? Just my opinion.. Wondering if they consider trading Hughes and not Murphy for Clark? Now don’t get me wrong... I love Hughes but I would suggest they aren’t going to extend him if they sign Clark..Would make Seattle more interested ( getting a better player in return) and perhaps you only need offer a 2020 3rd in addition..
