I agree..they also need another WR although probably this will come in the draft at this stage.. In respect of LB..I would prefer them to find a Vet in FA to get them through this year rather than feeling that they have to draft someone early... also gives them another season to see what they have in Bernard...although it seems unlikely at this stage that he is the answer... Looks like they might be leaving upgrading the OT situation until the draft... they will need to be lucky that someone they like is there when they want to pick him...

We all hope Brown develops.. but there seems a lot of people here very confident that he is going too.. based on what we saw last year, Im not sure what this confidence is based on... Yes, Beane said he is going to bring in competition.. but I hope this is more than some Quessenberry type that he finds at Vet minimum in two weeks time that no one else has claimed.. The position needs to be upgraded in 2023.. either through Brown improving his play or by bringing in a better player... If the position is Status Quo in 2023 then I think we have big problems improving the O ...

Would they likely have signed someone in FA to replace Poyer? If so doesnt make any difference to him re-signing here then... Need to lose more than you sign right to get a comp pick? Beane likes to fill all the holes in FA and go into the draft without obvious needs.. so unlikely a pick was coming our way as I expect him to still pick up a couple more guys... not sure how many more they are gunna lose.. Singletary maybe?

Its way too much this year... I wouldnt even be totally surprised if we go with Barkley as the backup in 2023.. They have very limited money to spend on QB2 this year... They still have to replace Edmonds and Poyer.. Maybe also bring in a cheap RT to put up some type of challenge to Brown...
