A.J. was elite for about four seasons. None of those seasons was after 2015. He's been banged up half the time since, and is on the wrong side of 30. I would cringe if we gave up too much for him. "Elite" doesn't come cheap, but "once elite" and "oft injured" moves the needle closer, IMO. Does everyone realize we are trying to beat the Pats? The Giants showed the world (twice) how to beat Brady, and that doesn't involve getting into a shootout with him. You have to keep him on his a$$, and while our defense has been amazing, that's its one deficiency. Does our secondary need Tom Brady throwing to A J Green? It doesn't matter who Tom Brady is throwing to if he has all day to do it. He has proven that countless times. IMO, Let NE do what it's going to do -- let us do what we're going to do -- and let's see what happens. We shouldn't sign someone just because we're afraid NE will. To me, a team that does that is already beaten. A healthy A J Green in the playoffs can make the difference IMO. It didn't the only time AJ and Brady met in the playoffs. NE held him to 88 yards (0 TDs) and the Pats easily won. Just something to think about fellas. Definitely! I'm all for it at the right price.

Juju: I lost faith in him when Ben went down, and he's of even lower value to me if Devlin Hodges (UDFA) gets the start at QB. That team is a shell of its former self, and it'll be playing against a solid Chargers defense. Breida: The Rams are 23rd against the run and Breida is the hot hand. But there was a significant injury that could affect both him and Coleman -- Their fullback, Kyle Juszczyk, went down last week. He was a big part of that running game. As of now they don't have another fullback on the roster, meaning they'll have to compensate somehow, perhaps at the expense of someone like Kittle. Slight downgrade due to this. I'm in a similar situation -- Lindsey vs Juju in two of my leagues. Breida is similar to Lindsey in that he's a decent pass-catching tailback in a committee. I'm going with Lindsey in both leagues. I'd go Breida, too.

I read somewhere that we won't make a serious playoff run if we don't trade for him and Melvin Gordon. Just sayin'.

Of those 4, I'd go Jimmy G. The Rams' D has been average against the pass and this one's going to be a shootout.
