  1. Ralph's recent moves to push for the fair sharing of local revenues is exactly why he is, without a doubt, deserving of being voted into the NFL Hall of Fame. Being one of only 2 owners to vote against the collective bargaining agreement, publicly challenging the agreement when nobody else would (and getting ridiculed for it in the process), and getting Tag's ear and landing a seat on the 8-team committee to determine the qualifiers for revenue sharing, demonstrates the kind of principled leadership that is rare in the NFL today. Ralph had the guts to challenge the system, to stand up and take the insults thrown his way by an uninformed and uncaring media, and he is exactly the kind of owner that needs to be in the Hall. Way to go, Ralph! Let's hope the voters for the Hall recognize this latest achievement and give the man his due.
  2. You do realize, Fake Fat Sunny, that changing your screen name didn't mask your identity? Your nearly impossible-to-follow, stream-of-consciousness writing is unmistakeably FFS.
  3. I think that one part of the draft day equation that nobody's talking about is, what happening with Nate Clements? He still hasn't signed his contract, and may be gone. So I wouldn't be shocked to see us pick a CB in round one. Or, have a draft day trade of Nate for another late first or early 2nd round pick.
  4. If JP just lets it rip out there, he will be just fine for us.
  5. COULD NOT AGREE MORE. His missed tackles in the 4th quarter directly resulted in at least 2 losses last year. Maybe 3.
  6. This article does nothing to convince me. All it says is that he's sad his mom died, so he's burying himself in training and preoccupation with the draft to ease his mind. Oh, and he's gonna assist but not support his family financially.
  7. Two phenomenon around here that I cannot figure out for the life of me: 1) WHY most folks think Losman can do no right, and 2) WHY most folks think Marv can do no wrong.
  8. There's all kinds of phonetic spelling on this board.
  9. EXACTLY. Under this deal, the ONLY way the Bills will stay in WNY after Ralph passes is if he gives the team to his kids and the NFL agrees that ownership didn't really change hands because it stayed in the family. New owners DO NOT GET REVENUE SHARING FOLKS. So even Golisano will not be able to make this work financially. Unless Ralph can pull a rabbit from his hat, the Bill are gone when he is.
  10. The revenue from naming rights is just a drop in the bucket. Next...
  11. Don't count on it. We have a rookie sitting in the chair.
  12. But.........I thought Marv can do no wrong?
  13. I agree that he's been pummelled like a rag doll in the Super Bowls, but what gives you the idea that he's learned anything from it? Remember, he's 0-4 in the big game. 0. Zero.
  14. Marv apparently believes this too, since we are rather quiet on the free agent front. Hopefully he reads TSW.
  15. But according to Soprano's sources deep within, the announcement of Mould's re-signing with the Bills is imminent any day now...
  16. Well said. I agree 100%.
  17. I am one of those people who thinks Marv was overrated as a coach. Coming away from 4 SB's with just 1 ring would have helped me give Marv the benefit of the doubt here. The SB, more than any other game, is about coaching, and I just think an 0-4 record is an indictment. I also think that Ralph's selection of Marv as a GM was a direct result of Ralph's experience with TD - Ralph was looking for an "anti-TD" and he went back to the only guy he could think of and was personally comfortable with. He wanted a commodity that was known to him and Marv fit the bill - forget about the fact that he had no experience running an NFL franchise or even an NFL personnel department. I want Marv to succeed as GM because I love the Bills. But I do find it funny that among many here, Marv can do no wrong.
  18. Marv is untouchable. The Bills could go on to have one of the longest records of futility in the NFL under his leadership, and folks will still be worshiping him. That's just the way it is. Kind of like people wanting Jim Kelly to be head coach or their Congressman.
  19. WOW!! Now there's a "glass is half full" person!
  20. I agree 100%, and also point out that a fair analysis of JP's performance must take into account the Gandy-Anderson-Teague-Villy-Williams/Peters sieve that JP played behind. A tough environment for JP or Holcomb to succeed in.
  21. I agree that Campbell was way to full of himself, and yes it was annoying. But saying that that subtraction move was the best so far is a damning indictmnent of the Levy era as GM. Yes folks, Marv can do wrong.
  22. Way to go Marv. Let's bring in more RFA's, or maybe a backup linebacker with a high upside. Or maybe a kicker to compete with Lindell? Anything but the OL.
