  1. Well said. That guy never played team sports I guess, and/or he was an only child.
  2. This is a joke, right?
  3. Guess this is a "glass is half empty" view of the 2006 Bills. Discuss. Link: http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm
  4. Correction - Ralph's not listed in the "In Dreamland" section, he's actually a tier lower, in the "Lagging Behind" category. I'm sure the author would have commented on Ralph's "body of work" rather than just his recent high profile rant against the new revenue sharing agreement, except that he has no clue what that body of work consists of.
  5. I think he and Joe Devlin got into it briefly. It was a minor thing and they both moved on, as I recall. Marv's veggie status is just another reason to love him.
  6. But Marv (the old wise head) wanted to keep him. How do you square that with your statement?
  7. OMG, 24 pages for this thread? There are American citizens who actually care about this?
  8. Perhaps coaching and officiating might make a difference?
  9. I have to agree. Constant reruns of bad programming, especially during the offseason. And the "In Their Own Words" series NEVER, I repeat NEVER, features anyone from the Bills.
  10. If Holcomb beats out JP in a fair competition this summer, that signals the start of yet another long, dark era of Bills football. Sadly, it would confirm for me that TD threw away valuable picks for nothing. We will need to start from scratch (again) to find a franchise QB.
  11. So if Hull was integral to Jim Kelly's success, does that mean that Teague has some responsibility for JP's numbers last year? But I thought it was all JP's fault?
  12. - our OL will be better than most folks expect - Witner will garner some respect around the league by the end of the year - Everett will finally show promise - we finish at 7-9
  13. Let's stop living in the past. That was many years ago already.
  14. As much as I don't like Troy Vincent and his lockeroom lawyer act, Rashad Baker may very well be worse. He cost us at least 2 games last year by whiffing on tackes in the 4th quarter of games.
  15. I'd like to know how 10 no-shows at the OTA's rates in comparison to other teams. I suspect that's one of the highest "drop out rates" in the NFL.
  16. Something tells me Marv is going to draft a RB with an early draft choice next year.
  17. It is an EXCELLENT article. OK, I feel better now.
  18. I think Jason needs to get a new agent. Are you telling me that a guy who's a lock to be a starting RT is worth only $425K? That's absurd.
  19. Butler had better be a brawler because he's gonna get thrown around like a rag doll until he puts on another 25 pounds. He has a LOT of growing in to do with that long frame.
  20. We are an instant gratification society and clamor for immediate draft grades. But of course that is ridiculous. We probably "graded out" pretty well with the Mike Willams pick several years ago, because we went with the consensus. But what did that get us on the field? I really don't care about snap judgements about teams' drafts. What matters is, what is our record 2 and 3 years from now?
  21. But I thought everyone loves Marv?
  22. Absolutely we should have traded down if all along we were going to pull this surprise. Well, at least maybe now we can put an end to the Marv lovefest that's been going on here since he came aboard.
  23. Interesting that there's been very little discussion about the status of Nate Clements, his refusal to sign his franchise tag and if the Bills will use him as trade bait today to acquire another draft pick. Any thoughts out there?
  24. I also think they will trade up and take Ferguson, but I think it will take more than a 4th rounder. They may need to deal Clements as well.
