  1. IMO Moulds' trade value is less than most people think. If I'm a GM interested in Moulds, I know going in that the Bills need to offload him or cut him. I'd offer the Bills a low pick (4th?) so they at least get something instead of just cutting him. This is a waiting game and the question will be how long Marv wants to wait and see what the market will bear before pulling the trigger.
  2. What makes you think teams will trade for EM? I think they will just sit and wait until he gets cut, then they give up nothing for him.
  3. Any Marv-Moulds connection prior to the draft would be curious given Marv's refusal to play Mounds as anything but a kick returner for 2+ years. That was a smart decision.
  4. Do our QB's get the same benefit of the doubt?
  5. Was it Donahoe or Mularkey/Jerry Gray decisions that were dubious?
  6. Who is Soprano saying Moulds will be traded to?
  7. Wow, to some Marv can do no wrong. The guy is blowing it by wasting his time with RFA's and we (not me but many of us) give him credit for it.
  8. Me neither. Some of these people are unbelieveable!
  9. Parcells didn't attend the Keyshawn or Bledsoe press conferences, either. He just doesn't do those player-intro conferences. But I support your wishful thinking for a Parcells-Jones bust up.
  10. We will know more in a week. If AZ ends up signing Wells and the Bears sign that DE (won't even try to spell his name), then all Marv's accomplished so far is weeding out the roster, adding depth (woo-hoo), a blocking TE and a starting DT, and, oh yeah, he's helped 2 other teams negotiate new contracts for their up and coming players by setting the market. Not much of an upgrade to a 5-11 team. Was an offer made to Neal? And if not, why not? Looks to me like Marv's working on a 5-year plan.
  11. When you compare the Bills roster in the 1990's to the top teams since then, it's hard not to agree that almost any coach could have succeeded with those teams. Where I fault Marv is in failing 4 times to get over the hurdle, learn from his mistakes and take a different approach into the next SB game. We always seemed so tight and I think it was a reflection of Marv.
  12. It's amazing to me but to many on here, Marv can do no wrong.
  13. I hope she's not expecting a winning season...
  14. Not only did Marv sign Reed, he gave him a big raise.
  15. Are you saying that intelligence is measured by the number of posts one has on TSW?
  16. I agree Todd. I don't think we will take a QB, but if we do I'll be crying too. It will set this franchise back years - not only will we get the delayed development of yet another new QB, but also it means we will have wasted the 2 first round picks when we picked JP. Yoiu just can't throw away high draft picks and be successful...
  17. Um, Leinart and Young were playing for Rose Bowl contenders, and Losman was with Tulane. Do you think the supporting cast makes any difference? How about the OLs? Let's compare apples to apples please.
  18. On what basis are you questioning JP's toughness? By the way he decides where to run and how to slide (or not), seems to me you could question his judgement but not his toughness.
  19. If we end up with Rashad Baker at SS, we are in trouble. By my count he singlehandedly cost us 2 games last year with poor tackling (missed tackles in 1-on-1 situations at the end of games). Don't tremember which 2 games they were, but he sure made a lasting impression on me.
  20. Why is this good news? Who needs a locker room lawyer?
  21. Amazing that many of these guys are motivationally challenged. What is it with tackles?
