    Boy that forecast changed in just a few hours. The high temp dropped 2 degrees and went from mostly sunny to a few showers.

    Could be, but how much competition is enough? You can't just hold an extended four-month training camp to figure it all out. You need to develop a starter that is ready in week 1, so at a certain point you need to make a decision and then make it work. Based on how Edwards has looked, I think Chan has managed this process as well as could be expected.

    You sound like an architect. Or else like someone who is used to spending other people's money. Why does the stadium need to "stay somewhat contemporary?" To the OP - so you are saying that the new owner MUST take on debt. Wrong answer - no debt load is one of the reasons why this team, in this market, is still making money.

    I like how you think. Also, I recently watched some of the Ferguson-era scenes from the 50th anniversary DVD and I really like those unis. Something about the white helmet, white jersey and blue pants does it for me.

    Wow - very cheesy website (Danver Broncos?, Buffalo Bill hats?) and even cheesier jerseys. The Spiller dark blue has ridiculously fat lettering. I hope I don't sound like a snob but I'd be embarrassed to wear that. I got a white throwback Edwards jersey last year from DHgate and while it's most likely a fake, it's a pretty good fake. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.

    I'm already a Chan fan. You can see the screen/slant game evident where it never was; smart play calling; knowledgeable handling of the QB's; and some fire in the belly that translates to the players. This is going to be a fun ride.

    I seem to recall that, before the draft, Buddy hinted at this very thing - he needs to see a player demonstrate a full body of work from anyone before considering them for an early round pick. And I agree with this.

    Also on some of the replays I saw Hangartner way out in front, hustling hard and looking for someone to smash. With our athletic guards, stable of running backs and ridiculous offensive coaching/play calling, I think this team's screen game is going to be deadly!

    I see Spiller being used a lot like how the Saints use Reggie Bush. And he'll be in some Wildcat formations I suspect.
